Thank you, thank you, thank you a million times over. Seriously. I have followed professional football ever since Kansas City got our team in 1963. I have seen them since they played in the very first championship game against the NFL Green Bay Packers in 1966. Since those first "Super Bowls," we in Kansas City have had to put up with the typical biases of our nation's coast where New York and Hollywood press-rooms flourish. We roll our eyes when we get the usual "fly over country" comments. If our Chiefs were in a large market east or west, oh my god, the press would be hailing them as THE greatest ever (to this point of 28 year old MaHomes' career)!!!!! Rather, we ALWAYS hear NOT how the Chiefs won a game, but about how the OTHER team blew it. Yes, bias, bias, bias. Same sh*t, different year. We're use to ALL the usual biased chatter and typical 20/20 hindsight analysis that RARELY gives our team (and the city for that matter) ANY credit for doing things the RIGHT WAY in life, much less a game. So, again, THANK YOU!!! We are GRATEFUL for what we have here. We take NOTHING for granted here in "fly over country." I so enjoy watching and listening to the 2 of you! For 46 years, The Chiefs have always been my team. I sat and watched all of those embarrassing seasons, like 2-14. NFL and all other teams laughed us off every year. That was tough. Now that we're in our Mahomes Era, everyone hates us, says NFL is rigged so we can win. Mahomes is the media "darling" who has a horrible wife. Now it's rigged due to TK & TS. Feels like, as a chiefs fan, the general NFL mindset is to punish the chiefs and make up God-awful stories. Spot on. I'm north of 65 years old and can recall our Chiefs from the Green Bay game in 1966 to the present. Seen it ALL. One thing that has stayed consistent has been the trash talking, disrespect, looking down the nose at us that Kansas City and the Chiefs get from the rest of the country. This game comes down to one thing, only that led to the outcome of this game. The ravens stupidly decided to change their identity on offense, and even though they were the most dominant football team running the football via both quarterback, and running back for some reason, they thought, Lamar Jackson should throw should throw the ball 37 times with little to no designed runs, and only running the ball 6 times by running back…Even though in the very same game they were averaging 5.1 yards per clip, more than doubling the Chiefs in that category. Craziest stats is that Mahomes had as many rushing attempts as the ravens running backs in the entire game.

Iconic moment in my eyes. The loser comes harassing the winner trying to intimidate and annoy. The media is truly insufferable with the mahomes stuff. They scored 3 points and averaged 3.1 yards per play after the first 2 drives of the game. They did NOTHING on offense for 10 consecutive drives.

@@davegardner6673 reading is hard, I understand. I said AFTER the first two drives. Yes, the chiefs had 2 really nice drives to open the game against a great defense. After the conclusion of the second drive, though, they were utterly dominated on just about every snap of the game. KC is being completely carried by their historic defense and it’s obvious to everyone with a working brain.

The reason those two drives, which were literally the first two drives or the game, “won” them the game, is entirely because their historic defense shut down a potent offense led by the MVP of the league. Mahomes did absolutely nothing for the last 3 quarters of the game and still came out on top. The defense has been the driving force of this team all year and that was never more true than yesterday.
