As I embrace your thoughts, I also am reminded that hurt and abused people have a choice in contending with their trauma; many become bullies and others will turn the pain inwardly to attack themselves. Either way, it's still an attack upon the Children of God. The worst thing about folk that respond to bullying from others(by limiting themselves or hurting themselves) is that it becomes an endless loop of short-lived moments of relief . . . like a silent killer that desires to be caught but unwilling to risk losing the security in the habit that feeds the addiction to victimization.

The hardships he endured being bullied created a pure diamond of a human being. Because Justin was strong enough inside, and chose a path of altruism, he became a true hero to lead others.

The part when he said these guys dont get bullied made me shiver, coming from someone who was never bullied or idk maybe i was alittle, and i just never knew. My mom is born and raised buri ram thailand so muay thai is what we do, so i dont think i ever got bullied but people used to make fun of me alot and id get mad and fight them, so idk if thats being bullied but what he said really kinda shook me, for me i guess i always just thought thats boys if you make fun of me ill make fun of you till we fight, but i guess that was just confidence i had because i could kinda fight and i didnt care about losing. Self reflection at its finest But this entire story is gold, and this man is pure gold, i actually listened to justin wrens ted talk and then looked him up about a year ago and now im listening to him its crazy, dude went full circle, bullied, nobody liked him everyone made fun of him, learned wrestling became the best he could tried to train became a fighter, and now hes the man protecting people from bullies but in a whole nother scale. God bless this man, if even 1 in 10,000 were more like him i think we would live in a much better world.

Usually this involved putting someone else down. It sounds like Justin didn't fight back hard enough and that things got worse. Obviously he is the victim but that's the way it goes sometimes.

I was bullied still find strength from this podcast because I was supposed to be in sports but I had a baby and got kicked out. Tyson scares me he is a complex guy who seems like he’s so much more than the champ and he’s changing lives through his own demons and humility he’s genuine and I’m obsessed with these podcasts. I lost my hero in March but I’m getting through it x

You're in for a treat! Roy Jones Jr... not so much. I quit following boxing after Mike retired and I started watching MMA. Ever since he retired nobody else was nearly as entertaining. His retirement was a sad day for me and his fans all over the planet. I feel like a kid again filled with excitement in anticipation for this fight. Hell, I'm excited for you to get to see him fight lol

Amwsome show, very inspiring and greatfull...I was mentaly bullied couse I was different then the most, now I am helping others randomly in every day small deads, kindness and smile on my face. It made me cold stone body with deep spiritual soul moving through that shit all my chilhood. i would not replace it with anything. Knowing what person I am now, it worth every single minute of being "black sheep". See you in next podcast. Lot of love from Croatia, for all that u guys doing.
