Great thorough walk thru. We have a 2017 Flagstaff MicroLite 25bhs which is the old layout. They're sold both as Flagstaff MicroLites and Rockwood Mini Lites. No idea why. Also tow with a Ram 1500! We love the camper. However, our top bunk is very close to the ceiling and neither boys sleep up there. We end up having to convert the dinette every night. We're seriously considering on moving to this newer model just for the bigger bunks. Like you mentioned, I can't seem to find one on any lots anywhere to walk thru. How much space is there from the top bunk rail to the roof or maybe the top of the mattress to the roof? Thanks again and congrats!

I did notice the same thing from the older models to this. I would love to measure that for you, but the camper in 2 hours away in storage for the winter until April. If I find myself that way I will swing in and measure, but not planning a trip that way soon.

I've been looking at this model for over a year. To me this is perfect but my wife is set against the Murphy bed and prefers a separated bedroom for some reason. She thinks putting up that bed would be a hassle but from everything I've seen it looks simple.

Thanks for a great overview of the 2509S! We are looking at this floorplan. I couldn't find info on the solar setup. The one we saw comes with one, did yours? And does the fridge run on only 120v or 12v also? I noticed its dometic, which is a great brand. We have a vehicle fridge now that runs 12v or 120v. Pretty excited about this model. Lots of features for the price point!

Ours has a solar plug in on the outside, but I have no clue where that goes? We have no panel anywhere in the camper to control it. So I am guessing its wired and ready for solar setup? The fridge runs on 120v and propane.

The only toys we have are boat, kayaks, and mountain bikes. Boat would not fit in toy hauler, this camper came with a hitch for bike rack, and the kayaks can also be carried on the hitch or in the bed of the truck. Also toy haulers cost more. Thank you!

We paid 30k before trade and down. They delivered it from chicago to Idaho at no extra charge. We did have to meet them at the dealership so they could do their official walk through with us. Most dealers don't care where you bought it they will still take care of you no matter the make, or dealer you got it from.

A truck like that will pull it just fine. Your tow capacity should be around 10,400lbs and payload of 1450+. The same as my ram.

I don't mind answering weird questions like thus at all, lol. The stais won't go up when the door is closed. The door sits on top of the brackets that hold it to the camper. You also can't close the door if the steps are not down all the way because of this. The only thing that would make this camper not desirable for a full time rv'ers would be the Murphy bed. I don't know that I would want to put it up and down every day. Other then that the camper is perfect for a couple full time.

@@BassinNmore Thanks for the quick response :) I'm your newest subscriber. I can see the hassle everyday having to deal with the murphy bed. I am also leaning towards the 2205S. It has a 12V fridge (a must) and a inverter with power to each outlet. A pair of 6V's and another 190 panel on the roof would be the 1st add on. Eventually I'm looking at a Multiplus 3000 watt inverter and either 4 or 6 Li batteries. I'm hoping with it already having a inverter and wired it will be just a matter of upsizing and hopefully a matter of larger size wire. I'm just starting and the Rocky Mountains are calling.........when it gets warmer!!! LOL

My 2008 Nissan Titan Towing capacity: 6,500 to 7,400 lbs Payload: 1,382 to 2,063 lbs. 317 Horse Power. What is the best (4 season) (at least one pop out) travel trailer length with the towing weight for my truck? Will the weight include all the water and propane tanks being full? I'm trying to match the towing capability of my truck with the length and weight of the travel trailer I buy.

I am no expert by any means, but I do know you need to buy based on the payload. There should be a sticker on the driver's door that will tell you the exact payload of your vehicle. From there subtract all the weight of driver and all passengers, the remaining is how low or high you can go on the tongue weight of the your tow vehicle. As long as the tongue weight and trailer weight are both under your vehicles max payload and tow capacity then that is the size you can safely tow. Use a weight distribution hitch at all times to help out.

Can a Toyota Tundra pull this camper?

That really depends on a lot of stuff. Toyota Tundras can tow from 4,500 to 10,800 lbs depending on year, transmition, rear differential and more. The best thing to do is contact the dealer with your vin number and they will be able to tell you the towing capability of your particular truck. Might be able to even google your vin and get it as well, but I have not tried that myself yet.

Bought our 2509s in June. Sold our 34 foot trailer for this. We have 6000 miles logged and it’s just perfect. 3 of us in it. Tows great with F150.

Bruce I have a ram half ton 5.7 hemi can I tow this camper with it comfortablely at 75 mph ? I will be a first time rver and want to be safe without holding up traffic.

@@kingssing I am towing mine with a Ram 1500 5.7 hemi. I pulled it at 75 yesterday with no issues at all. Now at 75 you are at 3000+ RPM's so the gas goes a little faster.

Great vid! I really have my eye on the this particular trailer, maybe for earlier next year. You mentioned the interior length was 25 feet. The only specs I can find say it's around 23' interior and 25'11" total exterior length. Can you confirm those dimensions again. Thanks.

We actually feel like we are gaining comfort with the murphy bed, while it is up we feel like the camper is so big and inviting. We truley love this camper and floor plan. 5300 lbs dry and 1500 lbs payload for 6800 lbs fully loaded.
