Last night I dreamt I saw Noel sitting in front of me in the audience at a concert. I went and told him that I'm sorry to intrude but he's one of my biggest heroes, and asked if it's ok to just ask him one musical question. He just glanced at me for a split second and said "grow up", then went back to ignoring me. And I think that's pretty much exactly how it would go in real life too.
@Live0nnn3 ай бұрын
I doubt it. I had a real world experience with him aboard a British Airways flight from Manchester to Toronto, where he was doing an acoustic set with Gem at Massey Hall. I told him he was a huge influence on my musical tastes and, in fact, inspired me to get into guitar playing. We talked a bit and, when he asked if I was going to his show and I said I'd missed out on tickets, he offered me (his handlers took care of it) two of them and told me he'd see me there the next night. The in between talk was all about football, other musicians and his favourite places to play (which included Canada). A really nice guy all in all.

I’m in New Zealand. Didn’t get a presale code. Joined the queue at position 277,000 or so for Dublin so after moving 20,000 places in 45 minutes, gave up. Joined the Wembley queue and when I saw position 2821, knew I had got very lucky. Had issues paying as that part of the transaction wasn’t showing the available payment methods. Refreshed a few times and with 40 seconds left, secured a pair of tickets. 151 quid standing. About the standard for tickets that sell here in NZ. Coldplay going for more on an auction site at the moment. I’m going on a trip ‘home’ so this is a bonus. I’m very excited!

I think I'll stick to remembering them from Knebworth which I was lucky enough to witness! If you're into your 90s music we run a podcast dedicated to 90s Indie music with interviews from bands from that time, it's a nostalgia fest!

The Darkness and Justin are fantastic. I watched Liam live on TV recently, it was like watching paint dry. Justin is a presence on stage. Legend.

Perfect Oasis Lineup: The Brothers and Ren. Yeah I think that sounds about right.
@richardclark.3 ай бұрын
My lineup would be Bonham on drums and JPJ on bass and ten other things. Page on guitar and plant on vocals.

@@richardclark., Do you remember Ticketron? I paid them $10 in the late seventies as a deposit for that lineup (and never got a refund).

The original lineup was the best! McCaroll was their best drummer!

A very witty video Justin (even if I'm still astonished by your excitement!). You are exceptionally creative and obviously one of a kind. I don't care about Oasis, but I do care about the way the media has manipulated things in the same way as the brothers have been living a lie to their fans in the last few years to make it such a massive event to fuel their own egos (and coffers). Anyway, I've enjoyed passing time replying to comments on this and the last video. I'm sorry if I mentioned anything that triggered you on the last one, good wishes to you :)

They are the absolute end. Effing knobs. Their music was like wallpaper. Always there but blandly vanilla. 👉👌

Quo still rocked hard live though and were always great to see in concert. Let's see if Oasis can still rock. Am guessing they can because they all never stopped playing, they just stopped playing together. We will see...well I won't, as not going!

Justin, have you done a video about Ticketmaster before? What’s your opinion about buying tickets online and should we go back to buying tickets at the venue?

Oasis was all about the 90's coming home from a 12 hour a rave and sitting in the garden in the afternoon chilling to their music in the sun. Great times 🙌
