given that all of SE and east asia is safer on average compared with the west, i believe the safety aspect has more to do with the asian mentality which i believe is fundamentally different to the western one. this doesn't take away from the fact that we're all humans and share commonalities, however it's to different extremes. observe the communal asian mindset, the emphasis is not so much on the individual but more on family, community and more broadly society. meals at the dinner table are shared. elderly are revered and respected. bullying - say, in a schooling environment - is a thing but i don't believe it's as severe as it is in the west. also, when you behave poorly and try and ruin another person's day, in a roundabout way you are also ruining your own zen and sense of calm, so i can understand from this perspective, that everyone loses, so why go about your day and life in a hot-headed manner? it's not a good way to approach life and probably isn't good for one's health and mental well-being. i think SE and east asians also tend to be less egotistical and have less entitled attitudes. also, i noticed that it's safe in both wealthy and developing asian nations so their behaviour has to come down to mentality and the way they see things. interestingly, wealth inequality in the west appears to be a precursor for crime such as stealing, assault and other anti-social behaviours. these are generalisations because obviously there are calm, reasonable, decent, generous western people. it speaks volumes that oriental asians residing in the west - even people that were born and raised there - are often treated like they are less-than and it's still socially acceptable to be racist towards them as minority groups in a way that it's not okay to mock and be casually racist towards other ethnic groups. foreigners in asia - white and black and everything in between - are treated much better and first and foremost, like they are humans, even if they look different.

I may not leaving Taiwan so soon. Here is my home. I am not you guys KZbinr world, not really. Those are like 8 years ago starting this KZbin Business. Not me. I am too old too. Me and my classmate are in those American Medical Board those honor program, just one of those state school, their parents are the first generation landing in America. Poland, Ukraine, India, Hong Kong, Chinese, Taiwan, Mexico....and some other students that time the association (Greek Society and the clubs they were) mix in. So they are not in Taiwan, they will never be. They are the debts human from America. You go to those whom have the money. They don't have the money from America. The citizen or 5 Lakes some military personnel.

勿以善小而不為，勿以惡小而為之，以前台灣的社會非常動盪，連吃飽飯都是個問題，滿街黑社會人士，種族歧視，原住民.外省人.客家人.閩南人各為一派，逞凶鬥狠，平均教育水平不高 慢慢的台灣有了基本的經濟水平，良好的教育，黑社會也有了法律的管制，社會也慢慢變得和諧，對錯有分，也有了道德觀，人人開始講理而不是比拳頭大，這跟教育也有很大的關西，忠孝仁義 禮義廉恥，不要當社會的恥辱敗類，至少要做到不偷不搶，人性的惡可以做到沒有底線，但是人本性的善可以擴散並且感染全世界，因為感受過所以會更加珍惜 歡迎英國爸爸來台灣定居，一起感受愛與和平，當然~美食與美好的風景也是少不了你的😍😍😍
