This song is a must with a lyric video. I’m more of a sound, arrangement with lyrics secondary type person, but this song has really deep lyrics.

Thank you so much for continuing on your Opeth journey. This album did have a tendency to divide opinion... as a previous comment mentioned ...even more of a 70 's prog vibe... with sounds of King Crimson.. another of my favourite bands. This track is great but I think you should check out the first two tracks from the album next... Eternal Rains Must Fall and Cusp of Eternity. I know what you mean about prog ...it does take you on a journey ...but I do feel that Opeth are able to keep people interested and not lose them. I have always loved the prog bands..from the first time I heard theKing Crimson track..21st Century Schizoid Man... from the album In The Court of The Crimson King. I was 12/13..when it came out in 1969 and it blew me away. There are a lot of bands to explore 👍😂. Looking forward to your next reaction. Peace from Liverpool UK 👍✌️🤘☮️

Wonderful melodies. When I was a child (so very, very long ago) I was raised on ABBA and The Beatles. So, although I'm very much a rocker/metalhead I'm also a sucker for melody. I guess that's why I like Tai Shan😀😜. But Opeth are so melodic, even when they were death metal. Great stuff.

The King Crimson "Epitaph" vibe is unmistakable. I really like this album, even more than when it came out. To me this album is the gem of the "post-growl" era.

I'm trying to think of which song in their catalogue where you will be like "yep, that's it. That's the song." Fairly certain it will be post Watershed, but I'm leaving myself open for a surprise. Loving the videos though. Keep it up!

I love this album. Probably my favorite of theirs. However, not my favorite song from the album. It’s ok but I like many others better. The vibe of this album is totally different from any other they had before. Very 70’s prog like. A lot of fans hated it at first but I think it grew on them.
