First Day of WDW's Disney Springs

I made it to Florida! I got in a little too late to explore the parks, but Walt Disney World has it's own Downtown Disney, and I really wanted to check it out. Sadly, it's gone! But... it's still there! Walt Disney World's new "Disney Springs" has arrived officially today, and as jet-lagged and tired and incoherent as I am, I got to get some great gluten free food and see it for myself!

make sure you hit up the boardwalk! it's a hotel but it comes across more of its own little shopping/themed area and it's really cool.

You should check out the newly opened Jock Lindsay's Hangar Bar which is based on Indiana Jones pilot Jock from Raider of the Lost Ark. It's near the Boathouse.

I love Cooke's of Dublin. Some of the best fish-and-chips and meat pies I've ever had. I don't know from personal experience, but I've been told that most places at Disneyworld are really good about dietary restrictions, you just have to ask them before you order.

I remember a few years back I went to Disney world and me being REALLY into dinosaurs at the time we had to go to that dinosaur cafe place, one of the most best/terrifying experience of my life!

another long video so im gonna comment as it goes along: i still call it downtown disney... which i guess is fine because you still call dhs "mgm" [i think its because when they changed the name im pretty sure i was young and dont remember when the change happened so i just ended up calling it hollywood studios] was the place you had the fish and chips called cooks of dublin? their fish and chips are delicious :) "top hats.... bottom hats" AHAHAHAHHA ohhh yes i was right it is cooks of dublin! i love their fish and chips :D i didnt even know there was such thing as electric violin? i love the sound of it :0 its peaceful but upbeat at the same time. IM EATING AT TREX THIS YEAR AND I CANT FREAKING WAIT ITS AWESOME THERE. we have a bibiddi bobiddi boutique in our castle as well. [i think its still there?] rainforest cafe is awesome but im scared to go in there sometimes because im terrified of tracy the tree... thank you for not going inside because im going to bed soon and i dont want nightmares about a tree animatronic. anyways, i love downtown disney. :)

the background music is electro swing in some areas and has that swing era aesthetic. The coke place lets you have a Pineapple Fanta ice cream float. and there's a great Mexican restaurant

thanks for this vid. Well Disney Rainforest already makes a fortune, we spent 130 just for 2 people, but it was AMAZING !!! I think the drinks helped handle the bill, so I highly recommend to just go all out, drink and have a blast because it ain't no joke in the end. EXPENSIVE, but that's Disney. Lava Lounge -- Awesome!! WOW ERUPTION !!! Amazing, so now Rainforest just needs a log ride and charge a lot to get on it, brilliant.

The topiarys that are in DTD now are all from Epcot Flower and Garden festival. You should look in to it. They have so many topairys every where. I am glad to see them get moved to other parts of the World since the festival is over.

Check out Crescent Lake area via International Gateway at EPCOT..Boardwalk is beautiful and Yacht & Beach Club pool is amazing!

I thought you rode in with Adam for some reason, but either way Im happy to see that you made it there safely! Pirates is back in action, so get excited for a less exciting version of that ride :) I hope you have a chance to get out to Universal, and even if you aren't an HP fan those two lands are so much fun. Hogwarts Express is the best way to travel between those lands (fully immersive). The rest of the parks are great too. Not to mention the BTTF train and DeLorean are parked right outside of Springfield.

Love that you were reading that Japanese History book I probably have it as I am a big japanophile. That is amazing that they have amphicars that is a hard car to keep in working order. Watching some of your older videos and I just realized that on one of our rare Disney trips (we live in the Northeast, so not much Disney) we were almost in the same place as you. We went to Downtown Disney on its last day, right before you got here. And on this day, we were in the Magic Kingdom, celebrating our 20th anniversary. I understand the food thing. My daughter is allergic to peanut, strawberry, milk, mushroom soy and almonds just trying to keep her fed without stomach upset is very hard. Glad you have found a good option.
