I love how supportive Justin is of Ally. He goes out of his way to show her stuff he thinks she’d enjoy, and even though he can’t have any of the food he just sits and enjoys time with her. Justin a true gentleman

Hey Justin I have been watching your videos for quite a while and I have noticed your fondness with the Wild West but I have never seen you go to Columbia California which would be a field day for you! If you do end up going I highly recommend going to the Douglas saloon and getting yourself a sarsaparilla (which they have on tap). There is also an Old Timey bowling ally, stage coach ride, Goooooold panning, sweets shop and a whole lot more! : ) -Me

If you like Solvang, you might like Helen, GA! It's a sister town to one in Germany, if I recall. Similar theming and shops, but there's Cool River Tubing and a Native American Burial group that's said to have a princess that loved a man from another tribe, kinda a Romeo and Juliet situation. Dunno how true it is, but I remember that story since I was a kid.

LOL thank you for having a vlog on Solvang I haven't been there in 25 or 30 years. Isn't it fun up there it is a place you'd love to live in. I'm like you Justin that I am Celiac and all of those danishes we can't have now, breaks my heart. I don't know if they still have the brick homes bakery or Solvang bakery or something like that that used to have those butter twists

20 years ago my dad had some emus and one of them escaped around turkey season. We never saw it again. I have to believe it is mounted in someone's living room today and every thanksgiving the family gathers around drunk uncle Ernie as he tells the story of the day he killed the sasquatch turkey.

There was a comedian that used an emu puppet it was very large and he had it set up to look like his arm was over the big bird but actually he had it in the neck of the emu and he would usually end up getting in a fight with it and rolling all over the floor - he was so much fun to watch

Justin, if you like the wooden shoes, go to Holland Michigan, there is a shop that actually makes them on site and you can see and watch how the make them. I've been in the Rundtaarn in Denmark last year, it's very strange walking all the way up in circles. Apparently it was build because there was a certain someone who wanted to see the city without walking all the way up, so they made a tower with which they could go up with horse and carriage. AFAIK clogs were never something they used in Denmark? If it says Holland or Dutch you know its from the Netherlands. :)

FYI, Justin, it's impossible for Ally, or anybody else for that matter, to have Viking blood/ancestry since Vikings weren't a people but a living/job/past time. I think what you mean is that Ally has Scandanavian blood in her. Btw, that kid at the end must have thought you were pretty weird or something because he had a really funny look on his face when you were doing your sock thing with the ostrich puppet.

It's kind of funny... but I bought the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever owned in Solvang. No, they weren't wooden... but they were extra wide, and in stock, so I didn't have to wait for a special order to be shipped in. Wore those things for about 5 years before they finally were worn out.
