He looks sublime! Excellent figure! I had preordered when announced so i hope he will arrive 1st Quarter 2025 or maybe 2nd Quarter 2025. But as soon as it was announced I had no doubts about pre-ordering it. It's a Sith, it's an iconic figure in the Star Wars Universe, and except for the hood (and the stitching line) the rest is perfect. It's a must-have figure for Star Wars collectors and especially for those who like Jedis and Sith... Revan was a Jedi before Sith and he redeemed himself and became a Jedi again... it would be interesting if Hot Toys released the antagonist version of Darth Revan as Jedi Revan and had both versions. Thanks for the reviews. Everyone must understand, or maybe not, the tremendous difficulty that goes into making a 20-minute video, with cuts, with unforeseen events, so that the figure doesn't fall while it spins, correctly focusing the figure and details, timing the images and matching the sequences with the comments and ratings... hard work entails 20 minutes of video that takes many hours and days to get perfect.

He does! And you're right! I filmed this and purge trooper back to back yesterday. It was a gruelling 10am to 7pm shoot with no breaks. Each setup takes moving the camera, dialling in the lighting etc between shots and because I'm unscripted I have to just try a few things out before I get it right!

Also I guess technically for lore accurate lightsabers, the red saber could be swapped with a blue blade to fit the mandalorian wars, and the purple saber could be swapped with a green one for redeemed Revan after went to hunt down the emperor once and for all in the Revan book. Truly a wide variety of options for a figure 👍

I’ve been rewatching a lot of lightsaber duels recently, and it appears that in certain circumstances, yes, there is an equal fan all the way down. Especially if one pauses the duel mid-swing, there is not a trail following the lightsaber, but rather that fan effect.

For the Base mold, I got the Wrecker and Hunter figures and they have similar bases, but you can put pegs in the bottom of their feet and position them anywhere on the base. Soo nice. I grabbed this guy soon as I heard he was on pre order, can't wait for this one to get here. That pose you got him in at the end with the hand out using the force was very nice

The purple lightsaber hilt was introduced in the Old Republic expansion, and the design is a nod to the Star Forge from KotOR. The generic lightsaber hilt is the model that was used for all single-bladed lightsaber hilts in KotOR (except for Malak's I think? Someone can confirm), including Revan's lightsaber in the few flashback scenes where you can see him dueling Bastila. As for how he holds the "spikey" saber, there's actually a really good canon reason behind that: the corners aren't sharp :) Seriously it's just for the grip, like the lower half of Darth Vader's hilt. Besides, lightsabers don't need to be gripped that tightly - there's no weight to the blade

Epic figure review! I need to do my homework on Revan cause I don't know much about his story other than a few details. I adore the costume design of the old republic and how unique it is. And I think the "Legends" label is an insult to Star Wars fans that want nothing to do with Disney's canon and their "high republic", and to Revan fans in general. Also I wonder if Starkiller is coming soon also.

The Legends branding is just what all figures made of Video Game or extended lore characters get labeled. I'm sure its got a little to do with possible licensing issues. But mostly just to keep everything in the same series.

@JustinsCollection not so much. This has been how they were marketing merchandise from games for decades now. They never used game logos on earlier figures either. If it's from extended universe lore or if it's from a video game. It's automatically labeled as Legends on the action figure or merchandise packaging. Lucasfilm wouldn't have wanted them to use the name of the game on packaging either. Its less about licensing and more about uniformity of packaging.

Finally 💯 I PO it first day and can’t wait to get it in hand after your awesome review. The only gripe I have is the hood, they should have used the same idea with Palpatine’s hood which sits perfectly on the head sculpt also fits for one more pair of hands would have been nice. I have seen collectors use John Wicks 4 head sculpt on it and it blew my mind, it looked awesome. Tnx for the idea of using alien tape that would be helpful now waiting on Starkiller 💯

My Hot Toys Mandalore Maul just arrived yesterday but I'm having and issue I wonder if you've had the same before and know how to fix it. The left lightsaber gripping hand's hole is too small for the peg in the wrist's ball joint to fit into, all the other hands I've tried work just fine which is a shame because I want to display him in that classic Maul stance. So far I've broken two of the ball joint pieces trying to get it in and I'm out of spares, I sent a message to their support team to see if they could either send me a new hand or tell me what's wrong.

_OHMIGOSH _*_REVAN,_*_ BABY, YEAH!_ 😃🤩😎 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 NGL, I think I’d rather get *#DarthRevan* _before_ any of the other figures that I’m saving for; he’s one of my favourite *#StarWars* characters, and this figure, with perfect looking armour, is siiiiiiiiiiick! 😍😍😍 My other half is a miracle worker with a needle & thread etc. They could replace that hood with ease, and make it look like *#Revan* came like it out of the box! I’d also remove the thigh padding, as you have! Now, with regards his *#Lightsabers**,* I genuinely have no problem with whether or not they light up, as long as you can clearly see what colour they’re supposed to be, so that junction-box would go straight onto some selling site, so at least someone else could give it a loving home 😄 I even know _exactly_ where I’d display him, too; right next to my 1/1 scale, *#DarthRevan* neopixel *#Sith** **#Lightsaber**!* _GAH!!_ 😆 I cannot get over how good this figure looks!
