Honestly, you would get more grudge races with the small LS motor than going all out. Problem is you can't do the biggest of the big grudge races which is what big country is set on. Look at it like golf, you use your driver for the big s*** that's the equivalent of the hemi stuff but what about when you land in the sand or you need to put, that's the ls stuff. Why have a golf bag filled with nine irons it don't make sense. You need more clubs than that

The billet hemi would be the better option some of the fastest door cars run Proline hemis. 5000 + hp with 5.4s 1/4 miles. Comes down to what power plant can achieve high power output without running left field of the tuning graph 📊 love the LS though good engines

@@jasonsparshott7208 i know several LS powered car's that can and have outran procharged hemis and big cubic inch motors with tons of nitrous. Hell I have one myself. It's a all aluminum LS with 2 promod 98mm turbos on methanol. It make waaaay over 3000hp. The best thing is not only will it outrun hemis and mountain motors but it does it all while being reliable and not having to be damn near completely rebuilt after every pass. I used to be into the huge big blocks with tons of nitrous back in the day. But I finally grew up and realized how far technology has come and how much more you can do for a whole lot less cash and it be a lot more reliable and A LOT cheaper to fix if something does happen to break. Oh well everyone has their preferences.

Procharged Hemi or BBC. Why BBC? It has a massive weight brake on NPK (-200LBS) compared to the Hemi and they run very good with a Procharger. Have a Hemi on the New car and a BBC on this car as a backup 200lbs lighter.

i got a chevy 1500 truck with v6 4.3 and power adder i took it 520 miles hauling my 18 ft foot camper, i had my best trip down and back the cops turned me around rules covid 19 stuff, food! i had problem cruse power falling a sleep hauling not good feet fall a sleep no gas and brake only turbo or procharger! on ls, 16.4 mpg i dump the trailer and do a cruse see how nice it is!!

BC John Doc Black Sheep engine is 2,200 horsepower and they have more to get out of it hell I didn't realize that was small you do know when you are at 4,000 horsepower there's not many tracks you're going to go down? Don't be scared to try something different. My brother is the same way with changing his mind. You have everything there and it is a capable setup. Personally I think the ls should stay. What you need to decide is on what you truly want to do with the car and stick with that decision and quit trying to change plans mid build. The sponsorship is nice and if you see it leading to bigger and better things go for it. But do not get rid of the ls stuff because it is something that yall are not familiar with. find you a true stock suspension chassis and put the ls in there or a stock strut location and stock firewall chassis.

BC makes a great point! You need a good car to grudge race and to race on Street Outlaws TV show in the streets. Procharged Hemi has become a 🔥combo here recently. I see Boddie's son from Cali has a procharged BB and his car looks really fast. Making a ton of power with it! Put the procharger in it and start testing. Get a good handle on the combo before the No Prep car is ready too.
