I noticed that too, and I understand that they’re doing gentle parentingI that is something that I would like to do when I become a parent, but I noticed in multiple videos I seen where Kisha son would disrespect jazz and she would not say a thing she would not correct his behavior, literally seen a video of him slapping her and Kisha did not say one word. I understand these videos it is edited they control what the public sees. and it’s like if you don’t correct that behavior in the house as he grows up, he’s going to think that it’s OK and he’s gonna do it outside of the house and then people outside the home is going to correct that behavior better to do it while they’re young so that they know better when they grow up. At least that’s what I think. I am not a parent yet, but I have little cousins who I look after sometimes.

Once my children grew older, I think I was kind of strict as a single mom. I have nothing against gentle parenting, but there have to be boundaries even in the gentleness. Children will be children. They will push parents to the limit and some. It’s just the nature of a child. I pray they take our words with Love.

Yes I had two sons. Their Dad and I divorced when they were young. I worked 2nd shift and my older Sister 17 yrs older than I and her husband babysit for me in the evenings and my brother in law provided strict discipline on my boys as well as his 4 sons. I thank GOD He did because My sons have never been any bad children and they are grown now 47 n 43. The youngest one is sort of mouthy at times but All I have to do is raise my voice to let him know I'm still Mom and he quiets down.Praying for you guys. P S. I would apologize to the neighbors on behalf of your kids. Let them go back outside but leg them know there will be stiff punishment if it happens again. I feel sorry for you young mothers because when my kids were little we Parents didn't get Dhs called on us for spanking our children. Not beating but a couple hard taps on butt to let them know you weren't playing!!!!!!
