First honest review I've seen on this bag. I sold mine because your husband was right it looked broken most of the time and I just got tired of arranging the flaps every time I put it down and picked it up it just didn't look right to me. The bag just doesn't look right especially with the two sides gaping out most of the time I began to hate it and believe me I love all my LV bags

I love my Delightful and recently picked up another one for summer, in Azur MM with watermelon pink interior. As for my original Monogram Delightful in the GM size, here are the many PROs & CONs (in my experience): PROS: 1) The ZIPPERS on the exterior just MAKE this bag... the golden pulls add just the right amount of bling! 2) Two front ZIPPER POCKETS are super functional. Digging through an enormous sack for small items is frustrating, BUT these exterior pockets keep my top 5 go-to's super accessible, adding no bulkiness at all. In one I keep my iPhone 6S + my readers (in a soft sleeve). In the other I keep my 6-key multiclés, a lip gloss, & mints. 3) The very spacious INTERIOR Zip Pocket holds my iPad mini AND my Kindle AND my Sarah wallet. 4) The wide strap is uber comfy, never digs in and does not fall off my shoulder... and is beautifully embossed with LV. In the open compartment I carry just my LV sunnies case & a mini-pochette with a few makeup essentials. By NOT overstuffing this massive bag, it flops into a cool folded shape that gets compliments every time I carry it. CONS: I'm 5'4" and 139 lbs. and this HUGE bags dwarfs my body. And therein lies the only real con... I'm 139 lbs! ;) BEST. AIRPORT. BAG. EVER. On a recent flight I filled the exterior pockets as stated above and also carried all of this comfortably: a large wallet, passport case, travel docs, LV sunglasses case, zippy coin purse (holds jewelry), makeup bag, toiletries 26 case, iPad, Kindle, iPod shuffle, 2 chargers, snacks (in a zip-top baggie), small agenda, an inhaler, Rx's, tissues, and ballet flats tucked inside a rolled airline blanket (thank you Alitalia). I placed my cardigan loosely over top and still had room for a small purchase made in the terminal. Seriously this bag is like a clown car! Puts the Neverfull to shame (IMO!) 👛 xx

I've had mine for a couple of years and your are spot on! I bought a vachetta luggage strap and wear it cross body and also have a "smooshy" purse organizer in it. Definitely love/hate and like you said with the wear and tear it's just a part of my life too :-)

So agree about everything you said,My daughter and I have the same size older version and hers stays on her shoulder ,mine drops down on my arm constantly and that looks silly and then everything in mine slides not to the center but to one side! Hers is beat up and dark and I cleaned it with the Lovin my Bags cleaner since it was filthy compared to mine. She enjoys hers and told me I need to push it back further on my shoulder to control the slide. I love the quality of the solid brass on the older version .Love your honest review!

I just sold my delightful PM. It was too soft and open. I was always afraid things would fall out. I was constantly adjusting the bag to stay closed. I love the look of a hobo but I prefer something with a zip.

I got my delightful pm in the damier azur print last summer and it is not smooshy at all! Lol! Maybe after I use it for awhile it will be. The body of the bag and the strap are pretty stiff actually. Things don't slide around inside either. Great review-I'd love to see all your bags!

I have the newer Delightful with the Pivione interior. It seems as though it is still really stiff. I try to use it for months at a time, but I get annoyed and switch back to my Neverfull MM. I feel like its never going to have that worn in feeling. Great video btw! Thank you so much for sharing.

Enjoyed your video the Delightful MM was one of my most used totes when I had it in my collection. The strap would fall off my shoulder and that would bother me and I truly like a more structured bags. You are right everything does get lost in the middle of the bag.

I carried my Delightful for a few years before recently switching to my Speedy 35. I ordered a Neverfull GM, didn't like it and swapped it for the Delightful. The straps just are not comfy, to me, on the Neverfull. They sure are pretty though. :)

I found the canvas was stiffer. They are smaller, the new MM feels like the old PM and I felt the shoulder strap drop to be shorter. I miss the old tab too.. I have a wonderful SA who gave me a key chain/charm to put on my old one. Maybe I'll buy a pre-loved one....

Hey Jen i bought this bag the pm( newer version) almost a month ago. And I love it! I have it in the damiere ebene. I think the newer version is more convenient it is smaller in size and when you put things inside (at least for me) the items do not move to the middle. Mine is also very soft and flexible like you mentioned:)

You couldn't be more correct in this video! I just sold my Delightful for all of the reasons you commented in this video!! Especially the strap falling off my shoulder!! I held on to it in my closet for 2 years .. Every time I went to look at it I just loved the way it looked .. I NEVER used her.. Ended up selling her for the price I paid;) no regrets.. I got the Neverfull mm in azure instead with the Rose ballerine interior..

Great review. I have an old speedie that I feel the same about, it's in great condition and we cleaned her up but she has been loved and it's become my no fuss bag. If it rains I protect her as much as I can but she wipes up a dream. The pre love makes her lovely. My older but newer looking bag I don't want to ruin so only use on sunny days, still loved😉

I don't prefer bags gaping open due to loosing something or someone in a crowd sadly reaching in, who of course shouldn't be.....I just prefer zippers on the bags. But of course, it's still a beautiful bag...I'd use it as a tote, taking books or magazine when traveling, a water bottle, etc.

I'm surprised you don't like your Pochette Metis! I just love that bag. Selling a bag is never very easy..... if you have exhausted all possibilities such as friends, family, and so forth... you might try Fashionphile or a similar resale place. You will get less for it than you would selling it directly to someone, but it may be your best bet. Good luck! 😘

Hi Mauri! Thank you :)) I have never owned a Totally MM, but I can imagine what it would be like...! The first thing that comes to mind is "useful"!! with it's double handles, outside pockets and zip top, it seems like it would be a high functioning bag, for sure!! I think it would be a great choice if you are wanting a "work horse" type of bag....meaning one that goes everywhere and does almost everything. It is more structured than the Delightful, from what I can tell, and it has more pockets and organization. The zipper is handy to have and the double straps would probably not slip off the shoulder as easily as the Delightful. So, that said, I think there is a lot going for the Totally MM! For some reason, I have not been drawn to it, but I don't know why! :)

Hi Victoria! I think the new models are a bit stiffer/less smooshy. Is that true with yours? I think it is especially gorgeous in Damier Azur!! The Duomo hobo is an adorable bag ( I have the Duomo cross body and LOVE it!!) The Duomo hobo is great for a hobo loving person who really wants a zipper! :)

I have the pm in azur with hot pink interior.. Mine is stiff, I'm hoping it goes smooshy, I have folded both sides in for a better fit on the shoulder but mine too slips off and I don't want to hold onto the strap because of the leather, it's so pretty tho and I love the shape... Last week I got the neverfull mm in damier ebene with rose ballerine interior.. I used it for the first time on the weekend and I found the straps were digging in and I only had my wallet, mini pouchette, coin purse and keys in it so it was quite light.. Did yours dig in when it was new and do the straps soften?

I think the newer Delightfuls were made with thicker/stiffer canvas, because I have heard that quite a bit! Instead of grabbing the handle, I find that I grab the canvas area in front where the strap attaches to the bag and sometimes loop my thumb in the brass circle... lol. My Neverfull DE handles did dig a bit at first, but the straps do soften. I don't remember it digging too much for very long...so I hope yours softens up pretty soon. :)

I have the damier azur, and I love it, but absolutely hated the strap, when it got a bit older, I cut it off and used a super comfortable strap that I had. I don’t usually do that but it was older and I was tired of fighting with the strap, which I found too short and slipped off my shoulder🙄

...check out the Purse Gummy on Ebay, comes in packs of 6 for $12. They are clear silicone strips that prevent slipping applied under the strap .... they are removable, no glue involved, no marks, I have it on my LV Azure Delightful PM and other bags, love them !

Great video! Although I love the look of the Delightful, I ended up selling my Delightful MM. It was just too smooshy (?) for me. I find that I like bags that sit upright and make it easier for me to grab things from. (Maybe I'm just lazy.) I ended up buying the Totally MM, and I love it. Great review! I recently bought the Delightful pm with the rose ballerine interior because I absolutely fell in love with it, but I ended up exchanging because the strap wouldn't stay on my shoulder whatsoever and that's something I can't stand at all. :( I also didn't manage to come to terms with the opening of the bag. I always found myself trying to put it in a specific position for it to be more comfortable under my arm, but it just seemed broken ahahahha your husband is right xD However, I find it so adorable that I was considering buying it again and giving it another chance, but your video reminded me of its problems and I just gave up on this idea. Great question!! I would need to know more about your preferences and how how need to use it. Such as... are you a shoulder carry , cross body, or handheld carry lady?, what size are you thinking?, do you carry a lot of things with you on a daily basis? ....etc. But, in general, you can't go wrong with a SpeedyB (all carry options, classic, canvas choices), a Neverfull MM (becoming a classic, SO useful, comfortable) or maybe a Totally (very useful, ziptop, outside pockets). First decide which canvas/leather you want the most. That will narrow down the field a bit. I wish I could go to a store with you and help you figure it all out!! 😘

I have this bag and I love it . However, the stitching that holds the bag on both sides near the two large rings gets weak and worn down with use!! You would think that I carried a bowling ball! I carried it for two years and took it to the store and they agreed that it was not normal wear and tear . They offered me a new bag but it had to be the same One. I told them my concerns of it happening again and soon after carrying the new bag it happened again.😬Have you noticed that on your bag ??

Hmmmm I've had that same prblm too about the strap falling off my shoulder and I have the GM size. Thought it was just me since I'm 5'0 and the GM is huge on me. I was actually thinking of selling mine to get the PM size. Now I'm not sure since yours in the PM size does the same thing 😔

Your video was one of the reasons why I chose my Delightful PM. I've had mines for maybe three years now. Of course I didn't personally understand what you meant by a Love Hate Relationship with this bag until I owned one. I now know and agree, although this bag is still my baby and one of my go-tos. I have the newer model and I think the dimensions are smaller because yours looks bigger than mines, which I believe I would've enjoyed more. Love😍 Hate🤬 👜👜

I want the biggest size they make in it. Do you know which, the PM or MM is the bigger? There is much confusion out there. Yours is the PM you said which is the smallest you said. Yours looks huge. Hi Dawn! The PM is the small, then comes the MM which is considered "medium", and in some bags there is a GM too, which is the largest! There is also a size LV uses called BB which is the smallest...smaller than small. I think of it this way: BB= BABY PM= PETITE MM- MEDIUM GM= GRANDE

Hello Steph, I would recommend the PM. It is plenty big...almost the exact working size of a Neverfull MM. I am 5'5 and a bit heavier than you and the Delightful PM is perfect. I hope that helps! :)

For delightful PM is it hard to wear it onto the shoulder when wearing thick clothing (during winter time)?

In my opinion, it is easy to wear on the shoulder while wearing thick clothing. Since the bag slouches down in the middle when being carried, it allows plenty of room and "strap drop". I live in the Chicago area and I wear thick clothing and coats often.

I truly don't know if the newer one is smaller.... that is interesting. I guess you would need to try it on. In general, I prefer the Damier Ebene, but for this bag I like the Monogram. The handle is less "slippy" on the shoulder.

I'm really not sure. There is a rumor that LV is fazing out all of it's canvas line. (Which I can't imagine is true...!) But I have noticed that many of the canvas items online are Call For Availability. LV has been making a lot of changes lately, so I'm really am not sure what they are up to.

Great review. You're a natural! I am a neverfull gal, but often wondered how the Delightful compares. You carry about the same stuff as I do, swap the mini pochette (with vlog camera) with my agenda mm. I love the strap, looks so comfy. My nevefull is my "beater bag".
