I think you may have mis-understood the line "You should've killed me when you had the chance" - it isn't about feeling sorry for one's self, but a warning that you left her 'alive' to strike back and she will, hard! The whole song is about 'pay-back' - remember, nothing these ladies represent is in any way 'weakness', but strength.

this song was a B-side, meaning it wasn't the main title track. its just that the blackpink fandom had been waiting so long for the group to release a song, that they company decided to give the fans this song from their upcoming album back in 2020. Lovesick Girls was the main title track to that album and the music video for that song was released several months after How You Like That. Consider this song an appetizer to the main course meal which was "Lovesick Girls"

This song is much deeper than you think. This is about the a guy abusing her and her finally getting her revenge by killing him! All the gunshots are for a reason. Near the end when she says you should have ended me when you have a chance is the key line. And at the end when they say "look up in the sky it's a bird it's a plane" are the police and helicopters finding her/them. The dance break that follows is the chase and the arm movements like cocking a rifle and then the du du du du du are gunshots!

I love that you have discovered these girls, AND that you have a Hello Kitty tattoo. Blackpink did a reality show that was massively popular, called Blackpink House. It was a completely rebuilt house by YG Entertainment, that was originally, a HELLO KITTY STORE! Ha ha ha.... so cool. They literally rebuilt what was once a Hello Kitty store into a very VERY nice house for the girls to live in for 100 days while they filmed the show. The episodes are almost an hour long and there are 12 of them. Probably not a great idea to react to them, but if you want to learn a huge amount about what these girls are really like as people, I would greatly recommend it. It was a fantastic show. I watched it with my daughter when they came out and we loved every episode!

I don't know who wrote the lyrics, but it was accurate like hell giving me goosbumps.
