Dear Steph, the more I watch your show, the more I think we are so much alike. Years ago, I was traveling to my father’s house in my Tracker when an 18-wheeler flew past me on the Cumberland Pass and blew me off the highway up the hardened snow-cinder mound, sent me spinning, and started me rolling into the median. I landed upside down, hanging by my seatbelt, which is a real feat. The air bags did not go off, yet somehow both lenses popped out of my glasses. The window did not even crack. Suddenly 6 burly men were shouting, opening my doors. I was trying to release the seatbelt, and they did not want me to move. But all I could do was be embarrassed at the Mountain Dew and pretzel sticks all over the roof of my Jeep. The firemen had been standing outside of the fire house when they witnessed my wreck, and they found it unbelievable that I had survived. After getting me out of my vehicle, they took me to the firehouse and plied me with hot cocoa and let me use their phone. They rolled my car right side up, dug it out of the median, and got it back onto the highway. Two of them then followed me to a local tire shop, and I think they were responsible for getting a discount for me. The only damage was to my tires and my glasses. However, I found Mountain Dew-encrusted pretzel sticks in weird nooks and crannies for a year.

I love how Mac just walks across the screen! Pam smiles so sweetly when she looks at him on the sofa too. My cat had a vet visit this week. He was limping and had some swelling in his shoulder. Turned out some mean and evil person shot him with a pellet gun. It just makes me so mad. But he is supposed to be ok. I love Pam’s Merry Christmas finish! I have that pattern too. Steph, I hope you get to stitch the bunny on Spring Moon. Thanks for sharing. Let’s love on our cats!

That's awful! People can be so awful! One of our cats disappeared for a couple of weeks. We finally found her cowering under a bush with a broken tail. Turns out a couple of kids had been swinging her around by the tail. I can only imagine what those evil kids are like today as adults.

Hi ladies! Loved the tour de wall - so many beautiful winter pieces!! Steph, I had the same experience in Ink Circles booth at Market; her models sold me on things that, when I came home, I said "you just had to see the model to understand!" :) I hope you're having a great start to your weekend! 💜

Choked on my CPAP right from the start. You ladies need to put a warning label at the start of each video “MacCat on site. May appear or take our attention at anytime. Immediate interruptions in filming may take place but, hang in there, we will resume filming shortly.” The look on Steph’s face is priceless. Too, too funny. Best wishes for a great week! 🧡🐈💛

Steph, I want to thank you for being so awesome. My husband and daughters came into Keepsakes on Monday to get me some birthday gifts and he told me that he met you. He said you were so nice and easy to talk to. He is truly my biggest cheerleader and it sounds like you were coming in a close second with the encouragement. I have a hard time sharing my stitching or even putting myself out there. I am already going a little out of my comfort zone and coming to StitchCon this year, so maybe some day I will join the stitching Saturdays? But thank you for being so welcoming. Oh and Pam I am sure you would have been too if you had been there.

Ok first off I SO enjoy you ladies, I have not watched all of your earlier videos but have watched some. I so appreciate the mom n daughter relationship, I truly miss my mom as we had lots of sewing/crafting fun together, she was a painter as well, oh and just FYI she was a Liberian, to which our visit to the Smithsonian was only a dream of hers that I was able to enjoy through her wondrous eyes. Second I love the salute to Abigail, just beautiful pattern and yes Steph wonderful white stitches! Lastly I just appreciate your KZbin each week, I have endured substantial grief in my life and so appreciate your channel uniting stitchers, as we all know we need friends! Big hugs to each of you!

Hi Barbara! My name is Julie and I’m a member of So Cal Stitchers. I live in Placentia but there are lots of members all over So Cal. There is a Face book group you can join for more info. There are in person groups that meet on Saturdays. I meet with the Brea group at Panera bread on the 1st Saturday of every month 10:30-4. I also meet with the Irvine group at StoneFire grill on the 2nd Saturday of each month 11-4. Come join us! We won’t be at the Brea meet up in April, we are on a retreat. Reach out with questions! 😊Julie

Hello Tanya. We generally meet at the Brea Panera on Imperial (next to Lucille’s) at 10-4pm the first Saturday of the month, and then The StoneFire Grill in Irvine 11-4pm on the 3rd Saturday of the month. There are other groups that meet other places on the other Saturdays but I only attend those two. You’ll be able to get updates on the Facebook page for So Cal Stitchers. Like I mentioned earlier we won’t be at the Brea meetup on the 1st Saturday of April, as we will be at a stitching retreat in Big Bear. Hope to see you soon! 😊

Hi Pam & Steph! I fell in love ❤️ with you the first time I found your flosstube! So much so, that I've gone back to your flosstube #1 and have been binge watching your channel ever since! 😂 Your mentioning that it took Kylene 3 1/2 years to watch all your videos was daunting, but I'm still excited to see all your progress from the beginning!!! I have just watched through Stitch-con 2018. 🎉 I never knew such an event was ever thought of, and to see the very first one was SO special!! I can't wait to try for my spot in line to attend one in the future. Be looking for a communication from me soon to ask for your address; I have something VERY special to send you, Stephanie, something that a Wizard of Oz fan like you may NEVER have seen before. Plus, Pam, never despair that I thought of you; i have something special in mind for you too! All my love, Li Ray, Rickman, TN.

I loved the green milk story. In 1960, I was a student at BYU. I lived with 5 other girls in an apartment. We had milk delivered in glass jars on our doorstep. One St Patrick's Day, one of the roommates snuck out and put green food coloring in one of the bottles. None of us could bring ourselves to drink that milk! Keep up the good work! Your videos keep me good company on Sunday evenings. Thank you.

I kinda like it, Stephanie, when you "shamelessly plug" Keepsakes. I got to visit last year from Missouri. I even shamelessly asked you to take a pic which you graciously agreed to do. I'll probably never get to go to Keepsakes again as it's sooooo many hours drive from home. But, I feel such a connection with it! I also got to go to Country Sampler in Spring Green, Wis., the Backstitch, in Elkader, Iowa, and Stitchers Unlimited in Lancaster, Pa too. This Summer will be Stitchers Garden in Conway, Arkansas, Cecilas Samplers in Branson Missouri and another one I can't bring to mind right now. Plug your shop, Girlfriend, we love it!!!

I started watching this episode this morning (at work...shhhhh), and when Steph was talking about the green milk, I had A Thought. Then Work Things happened, and lunch, and other stuff.....I finished watching the video at about 4:15 pm. LOL And THEN I had to go back and watch the beginning again, because I KNEW there was something I wanted to do inspired by the first part of the video, but I couldn't remember what it was. (We have a local dairy that sells green milk - it is mint, and it is delicious. Similar to a certain green milkshake from a major fast food chain that shall remain nameless, but not quite as sweet.) And now is later, so it is time for me to go home, and I will stop at the dairy and get my green mint milk! Thanks for sticking around all day... Erin
