I guess the easy way to look at what Khaled does is what Diddy does when he "produces". I believe he did make beats at one point early in his career but now he grabs beats from producers, gets ahold of the artists, constructs the idea of what would be a hit & if any changes need to happen or be added then he'll contact the producer & artist. Thus, you get the hits you've seen coming from Khaled lately or previous years. Diddy had his producers, The Hitmen & a lot of hits were created

Im withe bart on todays DJing theres a lot of knobs that they keep on turning like every second they keep on turning a lot of knobs and there’s this colored buttons that makes different sounds thas crazy! Coz back in the late 90’s me and a bunch of friends have a mobile disco we only have 2 technics turntable and a technics mixer amplifier and hundreds of vinyl records and a truck load of speakers and lights, you need to have like the trending songs on vinyl and some of it we import on other countries and you need to put vinyl record for every song and need to time it with the other records thats what yo call skills and of course you need to scratch! But now i don’t know i think its all pre set on the laptop and I don’t really get the knobs twisting 🤷🏻‍♂️ maybe you can twist some knobs like 3-4x in 1 song but twisting it every second i don’t get it
