I was raised in this and I know they keep saying we have to be “relevant “ but we just don’t have the power we used to have. I go to church and feel like I’m just starving for the anointing and the real touch of God’s Spirit.

I got saved under Apostle Washington in 1977 when they were on Glenmore Ave in Brooklyn before church moved to Jamaica ave. I miss services like this. They were so anointing. You felt the presence of God in the house...

I was 3 or 4 when Apostle passed, but my parents played this tape constantly! This was my favorite song to hear him sing.

That is Apostle Johnnie Washington at the Tabernacle of Prayer 165-11 Jamaica Ave, Jamaica New York. He went home to be with the Lord in 1986.
