I'm pretty sure this video was made for fun, and he did it without research, but since there's a comment war, let me clear some things: 1) Sans has only 1 hp. The sleeping rule does not apply to him; he consistently has that number. Just because Chara dealt 9999 damage to him does not mean he had that much hp. Remember, that happened to pretty much everyone on the Genocide run. 2) Sans isn't invincible. He can't dodge everything, otherwise Chara would not have beaten him. Considering Chara is human, I think it's safe to say that, in terms of combat speed, Sans isn't faster than Ghost Rider. 3) The Penance State depends on the misdeeds that the target has done. Sans, from what we know, hasn't done anything truly evil, so he'd only be injured and not dead. He wouldn't be completely unaffected as seen here. 4) Sans has limited stamina. He already lacks the determination that humans have, and he's lazy on top of that. He tires himself out inn the battle versus Chara, so it's logical to say he'd tire quickly here. 5) The fact that this is in the Undertale world immediately gives Ghost Rider an advantage. As humans have determination, and he is, at the core, human, he'd have the determination Frisk and Chara have. And considering he's far stronger than them, it's reasonable to say his determination is far stronger than theirs.

I agree with 3.5 of the facts. 2) While it is true Sans can't dodge everything, Chara is a lot faster than the game seems like. Considering Gaster Blasters move extremely fast, Chara has to be able to dodge a near light speed attack, making Chara extremely fast, and Sans can casually dodge Chara. 5) If Ghost Rider had a soul, It wouldn't be Determination. I'm not sure how rare it is, but considering that Ghost Rider judges bad people more or less, his soul would probably be that of Justice. Not that Ghost Rider wouldn't lose, even if KR worked on Ghost Rider(Not sure if it would), Sans would most likely not be able to kill him before he became too tired to dodge.

Yes it would a closer fight but it would end in a stale mate because neither opponent can kill each other because gaster's soul was scattered across time and space the penance stare wouldn't work and because Gaster has no physical body GR can't knock him out and because gaster doesn't have access to heaven forged weapons which are the only thing that can even harm GR the fight end with neither wining nor losing but regardless it would still be a good fight

+Super Ascended Sean Pazdera I'm not sure about being vaporized but I've seen a comic panel where he was turned to goop and just reformed and in another instance Dr. Strange fried him with magic, enough where he thought he killed him and yet GR just got up and Penance Stared him. It's very hard to kill Ghost Rider and he's surprisingly op, an unrestrained Ghost Rider was implied to be capable of beating World War Hulk, who was trashing nearly every other hero and the only other people who were a threat was Juggernaut who gets his powers from a powerful demon and is nigh impervious and Dr. Strange using the powers of a powerful demon so that speaks volumes for GR when he's among the power level needed to defeat Hulk in one of his strongest moments.

Lorenzo Herreros Fair point, I'll admit that a lot of what I have seen from that event, it seemed like he got a lucky break like running into Skrull Black Bolt instead of the actual one, Thor being gone, SS not being around, Zarathos choosing not to fight him and Dr. Strange giving up because he was endangering innocents. Still, Hulk is powerful regardless, he's held millions if not billions of tons, can trade blows with Marvel power houses and can get to power levels where just punching Red She-Hulk destroyed a whole planet, its still impressive if you can defeat someone like that.

I feel like this fight depends on a lot of variables. Is this taking place when Sans fights Chara for the first time or after Chara died to Sans many times? Is ghost rider's kills counted as sins even though he did it due to their sins. This could really affect their powers as they are both skeletons who use Karma to their advantage. But if them killing people who sinned is not considered a sin, then Sans has no KR (which means he really does 1 damage and is easier to hit). I don't know much about Ghost Rider, but from what I've heard and how his powers work, Ghost Rider should have won easily.

while true this is before chara died many times due to the dialog being the same as when you first get there. and you have a point but sans attacks are rapid damage so if ghost rider touches them its damage and 1 damage every tick( tick being 0.05) so sans does 24 damage a second penint stare does nothing as sans never (cannonly) harmed

lots of people say that sans have 1 hp, thats not true at all, the stats of a monster depends entirely on his mindset, the attack and damage of a monster varies inmensely depending on his killing intent, his defense and hp rely on his will to live, the same monster can have completely different stats if he is more or less determined, asgore stats change from 80/80 to 40-40 when you try to calm him down, undyne can have, in the very same day, 3 completely different stat profile, with life points that varies between 1.500 hp and 23.000 hp, he amp herself 21.500 hp up as soon as he fills herself with the killing intent and the will to survive to save her friends. in the game, Sans is reluctant to fight you, he doesn't want to and only does when he literally sees no alternative and even then he does so clearly having mixed feelings about it. He even acknowledges he knows he can't kill you and it implies that his goal is only to frustrate you enough to reset since he knows he can't kill you. monsters stats are determined by how they feel. I'm sure there are certain inherently stronger and weaker monsters but one needs to really question how Sans could have 1 of every stat and not died a long time ago. No in truth I think Sans isn't like that normally. But the path you took in genocide weighed heavily on him because of what he knew it would come too. The death of his friends and brother, the knowledge that he can't actually kill you and the fact that in an alternate timeline you were exceptionally good friends with him. I think it made him not want to hurt you even though he knew he had to, that he didn't want to live without the people he loved, that he didn't deserve to be the only survivor because of how he sat back and observed you. Att - determined by a monsters willingness to harm (Sans has 1 attack) Def - determined by a monsters willingness to not take damage (Sans has 1 defense) HP - determined by a monsters willingness to live (Sans has 1 HP) When looking at if from that perspective Sans even at his worst is merciful, self-loathing, depressed. Yet he still does what he can to try and make the player reset. if sans were filled with killing intent, he could potentially gain over 20.000 hp like undyne did

dew it I agree with you to a small extent, as a UT fan, I hate the fanboys that put Sans up to fights he can't win. I accept that he isn't that powerful, and I hated seeing him in every episode. However, Sans will most likely return a few times, but not like what AnimationRewind had to do to please the majority of the viewers. You just have to accept that Sans should return, but only at the same quantity as other returning fighters.
