I have to say that while Deathbattle has the crazy production value and big budget, I always thought strife captured the personalities of the characters perfectly. Like all the little homages and sound effects to both these shows and the characters were perfect. The little squeaks of the windmill, the Santa’s elves vs the eggplants, Mr mouse. It shows a lot of love for the source material. This was a ton of fun and I hope you keep making them

I forget Courage has an infinite amount of dumb luck on his side, even if he’s dead he still somehow is victorious. And maybe it’s also because he’s a Toon?

In his actual show, it's less "infinite dumb luck" and more, "infinite stamina and tenacity" that wins him the day. Courage doesn't ever give up, and he's pretty much functionally immune to dying. But yeah, victory often comes as a result of his quick wit, or his immense kindness. I honestly can't really think of an episode that was solved purely via dumb luck.

Tbh first time watching this, I saw it like a actual crossover episode and thought zim was gonna be the end of courage, making it dark and actually fitting for both shows to have dark endings at times but the fact that courage just escapes heaven and became stronger just goes to show that we need crossovers like this now a days

Some of the most satisfying moments from Courage the Cowardly Dog are when Courage is pushed to the point where the gloves come off. The entirety of "Squatting Tiger, Hidden Dog" comes to mind. At 9:43, Courage is clearly *DONE* with Zim's BS, and hits him with one of the most badass cartoon tropes ever: hulking out and beating the shit out of him. And all while the classic Cartoon Cartoons theme plays. It's genuinely one of the most badass things I've ever seen.

These sprites are from a Wlanmniax M.U.G.E.N characters, and he is also a great programmer for characters in this engine. And these sprites really look like the cartoon characters. Even the animation is very good, i like both of them a lot. The animation reminds me of when i saw several characters facing each other in animabits.
