You have such a big heart and such a blessing to so many people. About a week ago I decided to start diving for shelf stable food to donate to our local porch pantry. I used to just dive for merchandise…. I will still get the merchandise if it’s there but I am focusing more on the good. I didn’t realize how food insecure people in my community really were until recently. People who were there getting food actually helped me unload my car and and saying to me “Good Bless you”. I have been blessed all my life and I can’t tell you the joy it gave me to bless others. I left in my car crying. THANK YOU CATHIE for sharing these dives and getting me out of my selfishness to help bless others.

omg...it took me aback a little, that this brought me to tears (which isn`t the first time...but this one was into full ugly cry). This is such a wonderful thing you have done for people here. A few years ago we found ourselves facing a Christmas not only without presents ( and also my husband for his birthday which is on Christmas Eve) but also no special food for a Christmas dinner. I had asked our community group online if they could send my husband birthday wishes and actually ended up with an entire turkey, a ham, a bag of potatoes and all the other fixings, including pie! Someone even brought by a birthday cake and some Christmas cookies and even a bottle of champagne. It was so overwhelming! I kept saying we had plenty but more wanted to contribute. We did turn down the offers of presents though as we had already received so much. It absolutely turned around what was a horrid Christmas into a very lovely one. Last year I 19:18 spent many long hours at the Christmas bank wrapping up presents for people in similar situations and I was so happy to do it. It was another lean year for us but we had food so I didn’t ask for anything for us. But the lady running it somehow found out and she had 4 large pizzas, several breadsticks, wings and even more plus a whole bunch of never delivered to our home on Christmas Eve for my husband s bday. It was extra special b/c we usually spent Christmas Eve with my Dad and he passed away last year so it was going to be particularly painful! She didn’t have it listed who it came from but it was her. It meant so much! Recently we had to move and we had to leave all of our Christmas decor behind. We didn’t have the money to buy all new stuff ( it is a small Northern town of Canada so we are very limited in stores and everything is so expensive here) but once again when I posted in the community group I have been given so much stuff. You have no idea how much the blessings you give truly mean to the people that receive them Cathie! I was so sad to be so far from family and that I lost all my family ornaments and decorations but now I feel so happy. God bless you
