I used to train in Andy Norman's Defence Lab but I always preferred Justo's stuff. It's much simpler, more direct, and more practical for a fight.

Yo de muy chico estudié lucha olímpica, me parece que las posiciones de lucha son compatibles con su arte marcial. Maestro, gracias por su enseñanza.

Great I love how all the big fighters in the world do this.
@simontraversy536310 ай бұрын
Because all the big fighters in the world compete in a controlled environment based on rules with a referee and judges; Keysi is SELF-DEFENCE method; so everything you are not allowed to do in a sporting/ controlled environment is basically your bread and butter in a self-defense situation, that is, joint strikes & breaks, stomps, eye goughing, , hitting in the back, rabbit ounch, groin hits, hair-pulling, biting, spitting, palm strikes to the ear drums plus everything you would find in a mix martial arts competition. And we're just talking about the techniques here: in a self-defense situation, you are not walking in with your trainer, your sports psychologist, your cutman, you're not warmed up, heck you could be wearing the wrong clothes (skirts, heels), you could be out of shape, the terrain could be bad, the lighting poor, the weather could be against you, you could be jumped by 5 guys way bigger than you, they could be armed.... it's a whole different animal. Now, am I saying that someone practising a combat sport can't defend himself in the streets? Not at all; he's still learning how to fight, but the point is that self-defense methods are incompatible for combat sports because more than half of the arsenal is forbidden and the psychology behind it is different; in a sporting event you fight to win, make money and move up ranks to earn even more money and a belt; in a self-defense situation, you fight for survival which means sometimes you may have to kill the other guy(s) to live to see another day
