@@solalnouvion8463 We will take what we can right... funny that the Boeing 747 which was built more than 50 years ago will possibly outlive the A380. We will take that too.
@solalnouvion84634 жыл бұрын
@@justplanes yeah... but in 10 years EK will stop using their A380s, and there is way too much chances they'll be the last to use it :/
@justplanes4 жыл бұрын
@@solalnouvion8463 Perhaps HiFly who operate all their flights on behalf of other airlines will be able to use a few more. They've had it for a year or 2 and its come in handy many times to help out when an airline had a grounded plane... the A380 is able to take the load of 2 other smaller planes in 1 shot... but indeed if the plane is still flying after a decade there probably won't be many around... maybe someone will park them at various airports and open hotel/restaurant, that could be fun ;)

Normally I just skip the walkarounds, but this one was awesome. He explained everything quickly and clearly, gave numbers and comparisons and seemed very friendly👍🏼

Agreed. We normally leave walkarounds for our full films but not You Tube but this pilot is a very special guy and knowledge. We first met and filmed him on the HiFly A340-500 a number of years ago in Nigeria. Also super nice guy! Ex Aerolineas Argentinas pilot.

34:42 The controller instructed the pilots to climb to 11000 feet and to turn left heading of 100, but moments later, the first officer tells CPT Carlos to select heading of 110 instead of 100. Or the first officer didn't pay attention to the transmission or he mixed up 100 with 110, cause it's quite easy to mix it up

given how important, clean and clear pitot and pressure ports are, i wonder whether compressed air could be blasted through them, from bleed air or other source of compressed air. thus satisfy they are clear. because i cannot imagine how you can tell from a walkaround.
