In the beginning you can see his spaceship crashed and I think yes he and the other past- astronauts were "siren-ed in" (the guy is in a boat too, seemingly feeling hazy and drawn in) and they are like greek titaness- like giant gods of the planet. And the way they lure the guys is like them playing a video game (the guys are made to follow "hearts") like the poor guys didn't know they are in an illusion/simulation and when they know it, it's too late.

I think this has a Greek Mythology concept mixed with Extraterrestrial theme. There are creatures in Greek Mythology called Sirens and they lure sailor men by singing to them then eat them afterwards. Her next album will be called Planet Her, and the inhabitants of her fictional Planet are inspired by the Sirens. Maybe SZA is eating those men too 🤣
