Honestly, it's kind of perplexing how boring and unimaginative so many interviewers are when speaking to celebrities. It seems like many of them are just trying to get some sort of emotional reaction out of the celebrity by asking obnoxious personal questions. Most of the others just as generic questions the celebrity has answered a hundred times before. I fee like most of these interviewers are just kind of lazy and aren't interested in doing the homework ahead of time to come up with interesting, novel things to ask. One notable exception is Sean Evans, the host of Hot Ones. He consistently gives the best interviews with the most interesting and well-thought-out questions from any celebrity interviewer I've ever seen.
