One question though, how difficult is it to choreograph moves for a song?

Normally when I'm in a good mood, I just turn on the music, the camera and start dancing for myself and improvise on the fly. If I'm happy with the result, I upload it, otherwise I keep it for myself. These videos (when I'm at home) are mostly first try (sometimes the second try), because I tend to interpret too much into the song after a while, the song gets too 'boring' or I'm just getting exhausted. That's why I'm not uploading that often. If I'm not feeling right, I tend to do fool around more or do the stuff I'm most comfortable with. In the right/best mood I invent new moves or steps without even knowing it. When I'm watching my own videos afterwards I always have to analyze whats new in there and learn to do these new moves conscious. It's not that uncommon that I surprise myself with the result. Long story short. I normally don't use a choreography for my videos, but I use a choreography to dance with others. And then it's a longer process. You have to hear the song over and over again. Count the beats. Search for suitable moves and try to connect those. I hope I could give you a small insight in my vision of music. Best regards, JSM

thank you for the new video JSM...i love it!!..and you are correct in your comment about the dancing and just naturally with no choreography...when i was dancing..seemed i never danced the same way twice..nor to any song the same...unless it sounded similar to another song...and to..us self taught dancers can usually switch it up while dancing ..going from a drum beat to guitar then synth ,horns..and voice..and now and then we get a move with all that combined as one..whew!!...i love watching you dance!!...you remind me of me... i knew when I asked you on twitter if you had taken lessons or self taught..what the your answer was gonna be... #EllaZeal19 .. Whoa such an amazing dancer, you are like an angel of lightness Cloud dancing & make it look as if even i could do it. Im 68 & just dis covered this music & dancing today & have watched it for hours, i love the electronic swing its brill, i wish i could get my arthritic limbs to dance like this. I loved dancing when younger & trained in classical ballet then dramatic dance, or Expressionist Dance freestyle. And here I am again. While checking out KZbin for a newly released 2CELLOS concert, I came across several horrifying videos of the Russian Invasion of the Ukraine. Then several shark attack videos popped up with a warning saying shark attacks are becoming more frequent. Scrolling on, Sven appeared caught in a move from the video “Hooked On You”. Oh My! Sigh Deep Inside… A chance to rest, chill and enjoy a few minutes of Peace, Calm and most of all, Happiness.
