BAKiNG FOR 10~ BULK GROCERY HAUL 😉🥰

We headed out of town for a horse show and my mother-in-law told me that I had to go to this bookstore that I would actually love it. And she was right there were so much stuff there and I completely stopped up 100% on my baking supplies for the holiday season.
I was so excited about all of my purchases and especially my 50 pound bag of potatoes that I got for $13.99.
I came home and right away headed to the store to grab different Tupperware bins to store all my baking stuff in and label it so I’m completely organized for the holiday season.
I even built to new shelves in my pantry to store all of the new baking ingredients for the baking season. So here it is !!

Mainly out of necessity but I “study” pricing and sales trends…you did REALLY well for your area. We go through a lot of slivered almonds. My son loves Chobani flips so we’ve been buying large yogurts, mini chips, and slivered almonds so he can make a growing teenager sized portion. 😂

I love the larger Amish stores. You can also ask them for larger sizes or complete boxes if they have them in the back. The instant pudding is just shy of 1/2 cup to equal the same as the small size pudding (it is the same for the flavored jello powder).

I shop the same way you do, because I have a bunch of children. I teach my kids how to figure out price per pound or ounce but it’s a hard concept for some kiddos. It’s hard sometimes for some to understand that one size might be more expensive than the other size. I went to Safeway last week, and name brand Brown Sugar was $4.79/lb! I refused to pay that price! I went someplace else, because I needed at few pounds. I usually buy 25 pound bag at a time but was out and just needed enough for the special recipes I was making. I love to bake for family and friends. You know we parents show some of our love through our baking and cooking.

Oh my goodness, have I got a recipe for you! I make a Chai Tea (dry mix) & give it for Christmas gifts & I’ll be happy to share that with you. My granddaughter & daughter-in-law have a cup of tea every night before bedtime. My granddaughter loves my Chai Tea & my grandsons favorite is my Hot Cocoa Mix. They spend a lot of time outside, sledding & enjoying our winter weather. (I live in Mi too, in the lower half & my sons & their families do too). It’s so nice having them nearby. A couple of years ago, I gave my nieces & nephews jars of the Cocoa Mix for Christmas. One of my great nephews was so cute. He said he didn’t know it could be made at home!! He has a friend who goes to his house & in the winter they spend a lot of time outside, so “D” saves his Cocoa so he can share it with his friend. When my niece told me that, it just melted my heart! Happy Holiday. Baking everyone!!

You don't rinse the dirt off of potatoes , onions and carrots they store better if the dirt is left on. Knock off most of the dirt. Cool ,dark ,dry is the important part.

An easy baked chicken recipe is put stick butter in a 8X13 pan, dip your chicken in flour and paprika with your salt and pepper dip and coat it in your butter and bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes. Easy and so good. I use thighs. Turn half way through the bake. Just make sure you have butter to coat your chicken after you dip it in flour.

For the grits use half water and half whole milk. If doing cheesy grits also add some cream cheese. I use about 1/3 to 1/2 a block for 4-6 servings. The key also to creamy grits is to whisk while they cook. Just some tricks from a southern girl. Great deals by the way on your baking supplies.

Cracker Barrel has some cute Christmas/ winter gnome stuff and Hobby Lobby has cute gnome stuff for Fall/Halloween/Thanksgiving/ Christmas/ winter got stuff at both places for a Birthday gift. When I first seen your short, I had to stop it to really look at the sticker. I said she was at E&S. We absolutely love E&S we live about an hour away and get over there about 5 times a year especially just before the holidays to stock up on baking supplies. The prices are usually really good even when they don’t have close out specials. You need to also visit Yoder’s Meat & Cheese great place also.

I just ordered 10kg of baking soda from Amazon for £25 as i use it as a natural deodoriser for my cats litter trays. Was expecting it to come in a big tub as pictured but nope it came packed in 4 individual bags that looked like something else hint hint 😂😂 all packed inside the tub. All my older family members were joking when are the police going to show up. 😂😂
