You are so kind thinking about special treats for your kids and you have passed on your caring ways to Izzy. The way as a family you think and do things for others in your community is inspirational. I love the idea of doing a basket full of mini things. For some reason I also find miniature packets of things cute. It's so funny that you showed us the pan divider things because I went to a similar sort of store (just on a much smaller scale) yesterday and they had them. I'd never seen or even heard of them before. It's a good idea but I use worn out tea towels to give them another purpose. ❤

I laughed at that because at that point I'd turned away to do something so I didn't see that Izzy was looking at a product. Like yourself and Heather I want to start making some of my puppies food. I think I'll start with baking a couple of treats for my puppies and make dehydrated chicken Jerky in my dehydrator. If that works out I'll try doing their meals.

@@everythingval5481 cheap “item” used to make their food, how do we really know it’s really food in any of their products. Mass production usually means cheap, for all we know it can be all plastic. I’m extreme with food though. I majorly eat organic fruits and vegetables, meat from the meta market. Most of BJ and Costco food is semi decent. I can trace where all their food comes from.

A quick tip for using corn tortillas. You lay one flat then spread some salsa and cheese on top. Put it in the broiler of the oven until the cheese is melted and the edges of the tortillas are crisp. Awesome snack and low in calories.

I make my dogs their food every week. I use ground turkey or chicken. I try to switch it up so they have something different. I brown the meat and drain any grease and rinse the meat to get any extra grease off. Then I use brown rice or wild rice and the water I will cut up celery and carrots cooked with the rice and meat and I will look up what seasonings I can use for the dogs. I then add sweet potatoes green beans and peas. Then after everything is cooked I will bag it up in serving sizes. I have 2 big dogs and I will add the cooked dog food on top of their 1 cup of dry food. My German shepherd has seizures so we are working on what triggers them but she is on medication and worth every penny.
