Wow, this bit in particular was very difficult but this tutorial helped so much! I really appreciate you taking the time to show different angles of the model so I can compare it with mine, that helped me figure out why my nose model at first felt wrong.

I can't seem to figure out how he is getting the tools to work on both sides of the face at once. I've tried Symmetrizing but that doesn't seem to let you work in symmetry in Realtime like he's doing at 4:05 in the video. Can anyone explain how to enter this edit mode?
I cant use the shift + r thing at the start anymore. When I try to it will instead change me to object mode :( Edit: Idk what I did but I played round with the grab tool a bit more and now I can use it again. Great video btw I appreciate the fast tempo. Sometimes it is hard to follow but I prefer it more than having to sit through a 1 hour video.

Great tutorial out there. I will have just two questions though. As I am planning to create a character for a game i am working on, should I go with modelling or sculpting? And should I create multiple parts and merge them after finishing the parts (head, torso, legs, etc.) ? Thanks again for your hard work!
@justtisarts46352 жыл бұрын
Use the one method you like. Usually modeling is faster but it's hard to get same amount of details with it. Sculpting works great for more detailed work. And if you sculpting yes you can merge as many parts as you like :)

There are many things that you can do with visibility and I'm not sure which is your problem so I can't give the right answer. Try watching other tutorials for beginners or googling about the visibility. It might just be the small eye icon at collections!

You probably used to little size for voxel remeshes and it added to little of vertices. The voxel size depends from every model individually. I recommend playing with the value carefully and following the vertices count and not voxel :)
