Life Is Strange is one of those games I’d heard alot about, but never gave a real chance. Let's finally take a look at it and see if I enjoy this contentious story.

LIS is a wild ride and i was a hater at first but now i respect the hell out of it

I loved LiS as teenager, then I hated it and now I reluctantly admit it does have it good parts. In good faith, I'd argue that the last choice isn't about letting players choose Chloe for shipping reasons, but rather it gives weight to the player's choice to let her go. Max has to grow up, stop reverting time and living in the past, and for that choice to matter, it needs an option where she doesn't. Narratively, the only right choice is to let Chloe die; Chloe's ending is an afterthought and doesn't pack the same punch. I have my doubts about it being planned with such nuance, but if we were just told that Chloe has to die, that all we did didn't matter, it wouldn't be the same as having to choose ourselves to let all of our choices go.

I was the same when it came to hating it at first just because everyone around me ( mainly friends) badmouthed the game, After giving it a shot yeah it's not perfect under any circumstances but especialy the dialogue but it was fun especialy since i'm a slice of life slob, cool video dude

Great vid. i played the game as a teenager and at the time heavily enjoyed it even though i did find chloe to be annoying in a way where it's like you can never make it right with her, and at the time i felt like that was the whole thing with the game where it's like you try hard but you can't have it all until you're met with the very last decision in the game where you either give up the town or let go of chloe and give up all the decisions you've made thus far. And that gut wrenching decision was what left an impression on me and made me sob back then as i watched the ending (i love sad endings) great video and you have a nice voice, good work
