Like 70% sure when you checked for a maintained vacuum you closed the valves. Meaning that reading was in the gague itself and not reading the system pressure. Pretty sure red and blue need to be opened with yellow closed to read the system pressure and check if its holding the vacuum.

just a little valuable tip.. always bleed your yellow hose when adding the freon otherwise youll get air and condensation in the system.. just a tip...
@ImGerald3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the tip. I think that’s what happened to me when I did mines 2 years ago. The ac was cold, but not as cold as it supposed to be. I’m doing it again now because of a puncture hole in my ac condenser that was cause by the trans cooler bracket breaking.

how to bleed the yellow hose sir ?
@tudocervera37643 жыл бұрын
@@ahmadsyahmi351 open the valve untill the freon starts to come out.. therefore all the air is out of the system..

When checking vacuum, you leave the valves open. You always purge the yellow charge line before starting the charge. You always add the specified amount of PAG oil to the system when charging. You make sure you weigh the exact amount of refrigerant needed using a scale, before adding. Have fun!

It helps to keep the can in some water and also moving it around in there because the refrigerant is freezing while come out

You added too little refrigerant. But you did everything else right.

You are supposed to purge the yellow line. At the top of the yellow line there’s a purge valve. When you turn the valve down onto the can of r134a you’re supposed to leave it pushed in. I did the same thing the first time thinking I was supposed to puncture it and turn it back out. The set does look nice though.

Yes the brass knob on the yellow line on the manifold is the bleed valve just turn it clockwise to bleed the line but make sure you do this quickly so you don't loose unnessary refrigerant

How much is the kit like to get one for myself
@abcdefghi21752 жыл бұрын
first purge yellow hose before adding refrigerant also not enough refrigerant thats why compressor keeps cycling on low pressure switch just keep adding till compressor starts to stay on longer never add liquid refrigerant on low side of system you will damage compressor monitor the amount of refrigerant you are adding DO NOT OVER CHARGE

The kit is nice, did you ever figure out what your problem was with the car?

was the fluctuation not the ac clutch kicking on and off as per the directions of most cans of refrigerant

Do NOT turn the can upside down you will bugger up the compressor! You prob killed the compressor
@pharezknights54673 жыл бұрын
depends on how close the low side port is to the compressor, if it`s far by the time it reaches the compressor it would be vapour, if you use vapour to charge only the pressure would equalize and no more r134a would go into the system, so that`s when you would have to turn it 90 degrees to get some of the liquid out, or just put the can in warm water
