The ams is a waste of time and money... Better off with push fit parts or magnets.. Too much waste and to long to do.. Or go old school, paint.

I borrowed a friend's E3V2 because it was having bed problems and he didn't have the time to fix it. Ended up ordering new glass and the Gulfcoast Robotics bed. Bed replacement is even more invasive than just adding the CR Touch. This video was great. I followed all of the steps. I keep getting crossed up with the Z offset thing, because the print nozzle during set up was consistently a full mm off the bed during the auto-home and during leveling. The final step sets the z offset, and my test print was perfect.

Thank you so much for the excellent detail in explaining this machine. I purchased it about 8 months ago and never used it as I have not had the time to figure it out; it’s intimidating. I just want a make myself a latte or cappuccino like I get at Starbucks! I am a visual learner. You have given me the confidence to start using this machine. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I hope Breville, recognizes and appreciates you way your community does. You have a gift for teaching and visually demonstrating!!! Excellent video and I look forward to leaning more from you Vlad.

Nice step by step but it be better if you could show how many o- rings there are and where they go exactly. I know there's 3 or 4 rubber little o- rings and 1 metal ring that goes on the pump strainer? Anyways, other than that, good job!

My printer on some prints, usually circles, seems to have issues with the base layer and seems to not adhere very well sometimes. Its almost like there's not enough flow. Weird thing is though, on other prints, they come out amazingly perfect. Any suggestions? Incredible start up video btw. Thank you.

Thank you, Vlad. There are some key points skipped in the video. 1. Don't really need to remove the air filter box. Just the air intake hose 2. Be prepared for the 2 bolts in the rear of the intake to be challenge to remove. One on the left side is more or less ok. One on the right, pass side, is a bitch, as it is covered by thick wiring harness, solid connected to several brackets AND 2 heater core hoses. So if you look carefully, you'll notice that you can remove 2 10mm head bolts, holding harness and hoses brackets in place, so that you can ease hoses out of the way and push harness towards the firewall, clearing more access to the bolt. 3. even worse is getting that one bolt back in, as you can't get either hand at the right angle to safely drop the bolt into its hole, without dropping it into the depths of the engine somewhere. I used 4 prong grabbing tool, to hold bolt vertical and slide it into position, while having right hand going from the top to slide 3/8 extension with 10mm socket on it onto the bolt head, to secure it in place. Then, release the grabber tool. Getting that bolt back in was the worst part of the job. Tool is one of those: www.amazon.com/OEMTOOLS-25291-Four-Claw-Pick/dp/B000CMFK0Q 4. undoing 2 14mm head starter bolts was very hard. There are greatly torqued AND cowl overhangs them, so you can NOT get a long wrench or extension on them, as cowl prevents this. Plus, you are very limited in movement side to side by engine components. I ended - and I do have swivel head socket wrench, won't fit, neither would 2ft 1/2 inch swivel head extension - using a box wrench with another box wrench locked on its open end, angled out. That gave me leverage and I could pop it. Once popped, bolts go easy. PUT ANTISEIZE ON THEM, before retightening. Overall, job took almost 3 hrs slow pace, with 40 min trip to the parts store included, as I found that my PCV valve was broken in a half. Slow pace, no rush. 2nd time I'd have it done in an hour plus, now that I know the shortcuts.

Hey Vlad, if you can’t answer, can someone else please? I keep having failed prints. I followed every instruction. It keeps coming off of the plate and it won’t stay on. I have the right filament, I lubricated the rails, and I have the right model. Can someone please help me?
