Worse, colors look washed out. Its not as vibrant anymore feels lower resolution even though it isnt. I mean its a tad more realistic, but its not worth it. Camera movement kinda feels weird like its swaying from side to side ever so slightly. different from your other videos. Also audio quality sounds echoey and low quality, like mic is in some sort of tin. downgrade from previous videos Overall the way you recorded videos before is way better, not even a comparision. - constructive criticism I have been watching since 2020.

For the first 20 seconds or so, I thought the image was soft, like a "black mist lens filter," but I also thought it was the "weak effect of a PL filter layered on top." However, when I saw the image of the boundary between the sun and the clouds at 2:31, I thought it was the color of the windscreen. Depending on the car model, the windscreen weakens the UV rays, which can have some effect on the image. In Japan, where I drive, if you are caught by the police installing an action camera outside, you will be fined. (There are also places inside the car where it is prohibited by law.)

There is a small difference in the quality. We're not tech savvy and thought perhaps it was due to the cloudy day.

@casual-drive-Japan-yf8td great feedback. no pl filter. could be the windscreen. ill research this. i had thought about it but hadn't read into it. but yeah makes sense with the laws. driving generally is the most hazardous thing we do day to day. perfect color contrast and detail anywhere around the world anytime is the goal. thanks for taking the time to help!

its great. lots of growth in the carolinas and georgia. close to the mountains and beach. lower cost of living than many other places in the country.

Another interesting thing about this route, the most direct road from the airport to the city. Singapore has gone to great effort to make their roadway from the airport to the city center highly inviting and clean. Curious why Charlotte has not done more for this corridor and improve it and make it a more welcoming drive into the city.

There are plans. But with the city growing rapidly funds are being allocated where needed first. Unfortunately beautification is not a necessity at the moment lol.

I know this is a driving channel but it was good to see that the city has a tram system. Didn't know they still existed in the States. Charlotte seems lovely. I have heard that they have got some good breweries. Hopefully some day I can visit.

I was in Atlanta a few months ago, it was as clean as the video though, the only difference was Atlanta is way too big compared to charlotte

UCal moved into the ACC this year, along w Stanford and SMU. The ACC offices are in Charlotte. It's an effort to get the school noticed here on the east coast, since Berkeley is about as far away from CLT as possible!

Brisbane Australia here. Very nice city, looks quite similar to here. Climate looks the same and I think we even have those street trees with the magenta flowers. Your drivers are much better though.

Everyone's different but my preference would be for a slightly wider field of view but not the super contrast look of the GoPro. I like more natural colors. The wider view makes the footage more scenic even if it is wider than a driver would see. I also don't like the distortion of a fish-eye where straight lines at the sides appear warped. I think adventureeveryday started with a GoPro but his newer videos have better low light performance and aren't as wide. If I had to guess, it would be a DJI Pocket 3 with possibility his own color grading to bump up the saturation. The Pocket 3 has a 20mm focal length and that looks about right for his newer videos. The quality of the Pocket 3's video has been pretty much universally praised for a device of that size.

I can't really compare the quality of this video to your other ones as I really only watch the NYC videos. I do notice that this isn't HDR. It does look blue and a bit low contrast, as mentioned in the comments above(or below, wherever it falls). It's kinda everything wrong with HDR without the benefits of HDR. Please keep in mind that I'm only offering an opinion because you are seeking our thoughts, otherwise, it's relaxing and quite crisp. I am incapable of creating this myself so I have no place to tell you what to do or give unsolicited critique. Keep up the good work.

Just some feedback. Comparing your videos with other driving videos, specifically adventureeveryday, your videos don't seem as wide as theirs. Also, I think your videos have a slight blueish tint.

yeah just looked. gopro has great color and contrast. it doesn't have the detail like our eyes. curious if anyone here likes gopro more? ive always considered fliiming with it. its so much easier to film with. you just dont get high detail though.

Take Note Cities: Not a sea of homeless people walking around yelling at people, no tent camps over the freeway. So in other words, Charlotte isn’t NYC, San Fran, LA or Houston and that’s why I love it here.
