my favorite city...Im 54 yrs old, and Ive been blessed, to have traveled all over the World, both in the military and as a civilian. And SF has a place in my heart, that no other place has. Ive been to Rome/Vatican City, Berlin, the Netherlands, Japan, Egypt and Portugal, just to name a few places. But I also have a history in the Bay Area that started when I was stationed there in the late 80s, right on thru all of the 90s..and beyond, when I was discharged. And when you're hanging out at the various viewpoints above Kirby Cove, looking across the bay, at the city...if that beauty doesnt inspite you, I dont know what to tell you.

Just standing atop a hill to stare out into alcatraz and going to eat some italian food at north beach, cross over to chinatown to get some things you want to try and then head downtown to see the christmas tree and then ride the bus home all the way to the beach as the sun sets with people coasting by on skateboards. San Francisco is like heaven on earth. The city just needs a better justice system.. and better programs for the mentally ill and that will help for sure! But if you can’t afford to live in San Francisco.. move out there are other places to inhabit. Don’t be homeless and suffering there cause the city cannot provide all housing because the land is too scarce! We can’t just ruin San Francisco with mega tall buildings all around. Imagine an earthquake? Where will you want to go and hide where all there are is tall buildings all around.

@@jayyan4148 yeah.. that can be solved by ticketing everyone that is homeless and it’s causing trouble. I mean, I’m all for helping them get back on their feet.. Here there's horses, canyons, river rafting, waterfalls, mountains, and so on. Where you all likely claim you'd end up to enjoy after retirement. @@sparrowhawk5673 you might be right, but I can tell you that many people prefer urban areas like San Francisco to rural areas for a variety of reasons. Some of these reasons include: Convenience: Cities like San Francisco offer many conveniences and amenities that are difficult to find in rural areas, such as a wide variety of shops, restaurants, and cultural institutions. Job Opportunities: Major cities like San Francisco are often home to a large number of job opportunities in a variety of industries, making it an attractive option for those looking to start or advance their careers. Diversity: Cities are typically more diverse than rural areas, both in terms of the people who live there and the things to see and do. This can be appealing to people who enjoy a mix of cultures and experiences. Excitement: For some people, the fast-paced energy and excitement of city life is preferable to the slower pace of rural life. That being said, rural areas also have their own unique attractions, such as open spaces, scenic beauty, and a stronger sense of community. Ultimately, the choice between city and rural living is a personal one that depends on an individual's priorities and preferences.

I am from AZ and have visited SF 9 times, living there two of the times for a short while. One evening while sitting on Kite Hill I watched as the sun go down and seen the lights come on in the homes and buildings downtown and it was like a Normand Rockwell painting. The buildings, the people, and the culture are second to none!

Our favourite city... We're 54 years old, and we've been blessed, to have travelled all over the World, both in the military and as a civilian. And SF has a place in my heart, that no other place has. We've been to Rome/Vatican City, Berlin, the Netherlands, Japan, Egypt and Portugal, just to name a few places. But I also have a history in the Bay Area that started when I was stationed there in the late 80s, right on thru all of the 90s..and beyond, when I was discharged. And when you're hanging out at the various viewpoints above Kirby Cove, looking across the bay, at the city... 💖💚🌐🏢🛣🚗🚙🚋✨#KohyaSuechika; #Kohya Suechika: #SanFrancisco; #ElDoradohills; #California; #Kanto: #Tokyo; #Kansai: #FreeDriveway #FreeHighway

Nice video. From personal experience driving in SF is not so much getting from point A to point B but a simultaneous game of pinball, dodge ball and motocross hill jumping in a 4 wheeler. It is a beautiful city tho. Lombard Street was fun!

So after watching the whole video, I have to say, San Francisco is honestly a lot better than I expected. A lot of people talk crap about the city but I would rather live there than in NYC.
@ashm7922 Жыл бұрын
The only people that talk crap about San Francisco is Fox News. And it's because Nancy Pelosi is the city's representative. There's a political angle behind that. There are slums in the city, like any city, but the vast majority of it is drop dead gorgeous.

Why would you compare CA with the worst ‘Red’ state, instead of say Texas or Florida (where we see significantly fewer homeless)? Do you have that little respect for CA?
@Cosmicmonkeyman3 жыл бұрын
@@ChatGPT1111 dude literally 30-40% of people in Texas and Florida at any given time don’t have health insurance way lower in Cali. The average income is higher in Cali. The prison rate per capita higher in Texas and Florida the list goes on and on. Crime rate is way higher in nearly every major city of Florida and Texas. Texas has emerging homeless problem with Austin also guess what the tech companies were encouraged and invited by members of GOP. Yes Texas and Florida are cheaper. They are cheaper for a reason. When you bash on Cali for one major problem when it excels in many ways over all than those states you listed.
