@@JUUDOLF Jesus dude, when'd you get so "glass half empty"? Part of why I loved your early stuff is cause of your chipper attitude while you showcase the absurd things that can happen in TF2. But these last years you clearly haven't had any fun playing the game, and as a result I haven't had fun watching you play it. This is the third time you've begrudgingly come back to the game to make a video for it, and each time you've come out the other end a bitter, tired and worse off. I KNOW the algorithm fucking sucks and doesn't showcase your other stuff as much. I KNOW some commenters can be really annoying and get under your skin because they haven't followed up on your channel. But for the love of God, you can't let that stuff get to you the way it's been doing these past few months, because if you do, then it's gonna reflect on all your future content. Yeah, the game still isn't in a perfect state, but with the recent update for TF2, the bots have been HEAVILY pushed back compared to before where there was like 4-6 bots in a server. Sure, there are still bots and hackers about with at least 2 per server, but the game has become much more bareable nowadays. Of course, we'll only know if Valve does as they had "said" and soon release a major update for the game to help out more. Great Vid as always Juudolf. Edit: Oh! And to recommend a game you should give a shot definitely has to be Left 4 Dead! I think you'd get a blast playing the game!

Wrong. There are more bots that seem more advanced than your ordinary sniper bots. Some even use voice chat, have different names AND the cherry on top, they votekick legit players while telling the chat, that it's a bot that they are kicking. And when you join the server with 4 bots, you can never votekick them, because they protect other bots by voting f2. So it's still a big issue. You can luck out and join a decent full server where they can kick one or two joining bots but there are still plenty of servers that might be infested to the point of unplayable. Also crashbots can still crash some servers if you attempt to kick them. So the problem is still at large. It needs more work.

Dude, they ain't going anywhere for a while - removing bots is something that Valve may not be able to do. However, they are removing exploits and giving us the tools to fight back. I have played games where bots are present but they literally get kicked within seconds of joining and the game resumes as normal. YES there are some sessions too infested but oh well, find a new match and nowadays you'll get a match with no or few bots that just get kicked. Maintaining a defeatist outlook on the game and quitting the game just because you see a bot is just not the right way. As someone who used to watch your TF2 content, it's sad to see you like this

I'm not saying that TF2 is dead to me. If it was, why haven't I sold my backpack yet? I've been saying this for months and I'll repeat myself again: I am NOT giving up on TF2, but my God, I refuse to endure any more of the shite state the game is in right now. I mean the moment I saw the update with the sv_cheats fix among with a pile of other technical fixes, I came running.

It's good that you haven't given up! But quitting the game everytime you see a bot join is just not the right way. As far as we know, the bots may never go away and therefore rather than focus on the hope that they will go away and remain sad until they do, it is best to adapt your mindset to focus on the positives of TF2, which there are plenty. The fact that content creators like Monkey still make banger content is proof of this. And I get how you feel because last year I was completely crushed by TF2's state and nearly gave up. But it always brings me back and overtime I just learned to ignore and kick bots and they became a minor nuisanse. I know you won't give up on the game but I don't want your soul to be completely crushed by TF2's state. It still has it's charm despite everything~ Anways, thank you for responding to me! If I could say my piece on the matter, in a way I'm glad videos like this exist. Too many people I've seen have screamed that TF2 is saved after the patch notes when all it took was a day for the bot makers to adapt and bring casual back to the state it was just a week prior. I miss the TF2 I remember for nostalgia if nothing else but at some point reality needs to be faced. YT algorithm be damned, I love this style of video and I for one am going to keep watching them, TF2 or no. (especially loved the Kingdom Come one) Keep at it, man. Even legends like Ster and Jerma were once in this same rut. There is fun to be had just takes awhile to shake the "tf2-uber" label off.

Disconnect by client etc) They removed it before cause bots links their cheat sites or racist/homophobic shit in chat In cheat clients u can choose what message to put in that part The bot hosters put in "vac banned" on it Try clicking their profiles in the scoreboard None of em have vac bans

lets be real here. The TF2 Dev Team can't fix the bot and script kiddie problem because they don't have the support or manpower needed to do such a fix. They can only do band-aid fixes that only last about a day or two then the ones who make the bots just tweak a few things and they're instantly all back. I genuinely believe TF2 won't last for much longer. Maybe it'll crawl along a few more years but after that? I think the dev team is just going to finally give up and move onto another game. What makes this different from every other team people claimed TF2 is dead? Because this time the dev team can't fix the problem. They just can't. The game is too old, and the dev team is too small.

So, things were fixed for a little while and then a new version of the bots overpass the changes made by Valve. It seems that things still needs to be done, witch is sad, but this just brings me hope. May not soon, but Valve could realy fix things! :D
