1) Treat it like the close-quarters ambush weapon like it is. 1.1) Build up you MMPH. 1.2) Fall back and find a nice spot to wait in/hide. 1.3) Wait for a bunch of enemies to get close or past you. 1.4) Pop the MMMPH and flame on. 2) Avoid large open areas. 3) Utilize the MMPH as much and often as possible but try saving it against larger groups, assuming that you can get a drop on them. I can do more if you want.

Honestly, the flamethrower is a really underrated item. More airblasts, more damage, and a """recent""" buff made switch speeds 0.65 to 0.5 so I like it, not perfect for combos but it's great either way.

The uber-Phlog was and isn't the problem, it's the fact that so few people know what to do when such a pair shows up. You'd be surprised how many people fail to understand what is going on and fail to simply *back away* from the *angry glowing critting Pyro.* And even more people fail to understand the concept of shooting him when she's *not* a walking glow stick. And if I recall, last time I was against an uber-Phlog, the Pyro and the Medic did *literally* nothing else *but* pocket each other 24/7, match after match after match while my teammates failed in the way as I mentioned earlier. Of course that's gonna build up frustration for me. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with playing with a friend but *come the fuck on,* do something else than just pocketing! Meanwhile in the video, I did it once. Haven't had the pleasure of having a Medic like that with me since then.
