I prefer Profhilo to Volite and whilst I only had one session (not with Dr T I might add - one day) I thought it was overpriced and could not notice a difference 🤷🏻‍♀️

let's say i came to the UK from USA sometime after all this nonsense around the world has calmed down and you injected my face with quite a substantial amount of product. how long, in your opinion, would i need to hang around the UK before it would be safe to fly home? i think i've read the altitude changes and pressure changes can affect bruising, healing, and possible infections. i've always wanted to visit the UK anyway, so why not get a head transplant from my favorite youtube doctor before i go home? there are just so many more options available for fillers in the UK.

I get asked this question a lot actually! The reason is not anything air-pressure related / flying related that I would worry about it's just that if something were to go wrong or if there was some kind of complication then you would not be around for me to check up on your treatment. We have lots of patients fly in and fly out after coming to TLC but we need to make them aware that this limits the ability for us to provide aftercare IF it would be needed that's all! Hmmm maybe a vid on the topic is required 🎬

Brilliant question. I love threads but as you may know my thread of choice right now is the Nordyx threads which are not PDO they are PLACL and they do give really impressive collagen stimulation. I’d say it depends what the issue is exactly but a combination approach always works better than a single

I’ve been wanting this for a while but I’m nervous about being left with bumps that look like pimples. If it is injected superficially, wouldn’t you just get left with bumps since it’s cross-linked? How deep does it actually have to go to prevent bumps but still confer skin benefits?

you just have to make sure you don't raise a bleb when doing the injections so its a combination of depth and volume

It depends what you want it for really. What I can tell you is that cross linked products will be in the skin longer than non cross linked will be but you do have to do a decent number of sessions to get a good improvement

This is such an interesting topic! I've hung around the skincare "community" on the Internet since forever, and before that I was reading the beauty sections of *every* fashion magazine out there (I worked at a magazine publishing house so they were just around). When it comes to skincare there's only that much you can do. We talk about "deep moisturising" when in fact you can only add moisture to the upper layers of the epidermis. We're talking about a fraction of a millimeter. In general things just don't penetrate deep enough to do what they potentially could do. There are exeptions, but most people aren't dedicated enough to wrestle through scientific studies to learn about them. But these injectables does, instantly, give the results skincare always promised to do in months, if at all. The marketplace is huge! If I, God forbid, was in advertising I would market the crap out of Vol...volare and cohorts. It's what everybody wants.
