Of course charged as an adult, automatic life in prison if not death sentence with no appeals. A triple murder of a family, especially with two young children deserves no leniency.

@David Miller Wow Dave, tell us how you really feel. He murdered 3 people, including 2 small children...do you think 3 years probation takes care of it? Do you think if society allowed him a lottery ticket, those people would be alive? Take a look in the mirror at who makes society sick.

Death penalty for juveniles is unconstitutional. Only a sick society would sentence a kid to death. Juveniles are not miniature adults. That’s why the juvenile system was created.

So the thing is, even though kids aren't neurologically developed, this level of psychopathy does not have a cure or therapeutic approach that does anything other than teach them how to pretend they aren't like that. Which is fine if they learn to play by the rules, but this kid is obviously not fine. There's no cure for that, and no rehab with a good enough success rate to trust.

Murder in the first degree implies that there was intent and planning involved in the crime. If someone is old enough to plan out a murder ahead of time then they are old enough to face the consequences of their "planning". Someone who is too young wouldn't have the mental capacity to plan it out ahead of time. That's why I agree with you that if it is a first degree murder with foresight and planning case should always be charged as an adult.

I know moms who let their 8 year olds play GTA and yeah, their kid is a disrespectful misbehaving bully that's been banned from other kid's parent's homes. I think it's more of a tell on the kind of parenting that's going on. Lots of yelling and hitting and lack of caring creates a kid that yells hits and can't form caring bonds. Kids are easily led to believe Santa Claus and magical sky fairies exist so parents really need to explain that games and movies are not real life.
@markmaloney8154
@markmaloney8154 2 жыл бұрын
@@calamity0.o Your assessment of poor parenting is correct, but teaching violence in any form, even if it's make-believe, still teaches violence. What humans learn, especially kids, is put into their toolbox of potential human behavior. We are all victims of nefarious programming. Humanity has been fed a steady media diet of humans killing humans, humans exploiting humans, humans ruling over humans, and humans acting like idiots. These days, those who rule over us use television to divide us and turn us into mindless buffoons. How we are behaving is not our natural behavior; it’s what we have been taught through programming. You can see our natural behavior in very young children; when they meet one another; they don’t see an enemy; they see a friend and play together; that is our natural behavior. If you teach a child to hate, they grow up to hate; on the other hand, if you teach a child to love, they grow up to love. The reality of humanism is that we are programed to behave the way that we do. That is our Achilles heel, and it has been used against us to program us into the violent, divided, and confused civilization that we are. What we are not being taught is that life is the most precious thing that exists in the universe, and love is the most precious thing that exists in life...

I don't understand why there have been no updates after an extended period of time. Was the juvenile related? What were the circumstances of his stay at the Sweeney's home? I should think that there are ways to cover some aspects of the heinous murders without divulging the juvenile's identity.

“Who would do that to a one year old and a four year old?! That’s horrible!” Guess the mom is chopped liver. I hate the way people completely write off, devalue, and don’t even waste any time being horrified for the adults in a murder case when kids are involved.

Father, I ask that you wrap your arms around family and friends tonight.. Please talk to them and bring guidance into their lives with your word.. Father, I ask that you please bring healing into their lives, healing from the hurt, pain and sadness, healing from worry and anxiety, healing from depression and grief, healing from anything else that may cause harm to their body or homes.. Father, I ask that you please bring healing, comfort, and peace to their mind and heart for their loss.. I ask that you please remove the sadness and replace it with happiness, love, laughter and tears of joy, for the memories made and for the memories they can make in heaven.. Father, I ask that you please provide for any assistance or needs that they may have and I ask that you please bring blessings into their lives so that they may be a blessing for others.. In Jesus name.. I pray.. Amen!!!
