I only saw the You Tube highlights...but it was clear we need that LB, a 6, and a 9...and another deadly top winger...and later another 8 and CB. It's amazing how the energy and form of the squad fell off a cliff. Martial was the key perhaps...once his head and legs went, our bubble burst. Matic was a loss too...he had some good games when he rolled back the yrs, but due to age was inconsistent. And of course, we miss Lingard and Mason who added dynamism and goals...as did Rashy once upon a time. As it stands we need a new front 3...they have to seriously consider Toney, and an elite winger on loan.

I'm wondering if it isn't clear that there is room for Sancho in this team, clearly he has more talent than some players in the squad. If Scott can make the bench(who is up for sale) then so should be Sancho as well. Don't know what the agenda about selling him is all about, he should be given the same chance as everyone else. Not that he has to start but surely make the bench and go from there.

Adam, whats obvious to me is Ten hag is going to play Rashford again thinking he will come good just like last season. All fans seem to be able to see thats truly making Ten hag look stupid and undermining his own capabilities. Then subbing mctominay on with 20 mins left every game, we can read his substitutions before he does them now. Its not a great start in a season Ten hag has to get right for him to continue. Time will most definitely tell.

In my opinion , our manager is trying to protect his players that have been to the Euro"s this summer , he was to loyal to the same players that keep letting the side down . Yesterday de lgt and zirkzee should have started the game , along with Garnacho hell he's a young kid with bags of energy they had a full week to prepare for this game , its a new season new players they need to be playing now , the strongest 11 to start the game , we would have still had impact players to come on late on in the players who didnt start . Better players have arrived bloody play them now . I agree putting de ligt late on made no sence , and fernandes going off also why , no point in them subs trying to see the game out a point would have done there ! I want the strongest team v them scousers next week !

I wouldn't take Juventus interest seriously, unless Man Ute is prepared to sell / loan the player for next to nothing. People forget that Juventus are the scavengers of football, every year is the same story. Don't give Sancho away, it sets a terrible precedent. The club will only have to get Sancho training with the kids and hopefully the likes of Rashford get the hint.

Club is a joke last year we couldn't afford Kim min jae for £35M this year we spend more than that on two separate deals for centre backs. We spend 100m on two strikers who neither would start for a top 6 team when we could of bought a top 4 striker in oshimen this summer. We are in for the same season as last year. It's time we start addressing only a couple of issues in the team per year and getting best in class for what the team needs instead of average at best options who don't suit what we need. Possibly start that vision with a manager who can actually manage players Something I haven't seen mentioned is we bought de light who is an aggressive CB and so is Martinez so basically both are drawn to the ball/man so we are going to get so screwed on counters when they play together
