As someone who watched all of Barca games and 80% of Madrid games this season, I didn't even for a second thought that Madrid had a chance in this game. For the whole season, they didn't show anything. They won all of their games either because of individual brilliance or penalties. That's not sustainable and game like this was just matter of time. While on the other hand we have Barca who played whole season as a team and is scoring more than 3 goals per game. And they are just a bunch of kids having fun. Average age of starting XI vs Madrid, without Lewa and Inigo Martinez who are only old players, is just 21.6 years. That's crazy.

As someone who rarely watches la liga this season can I ask a question - have Barca stepped up this season or have Real dropped, or both? Just how good are this Barca team? I think the impression most have is that this Real Madrid team are another level and the best in the world. Clearly that’s not the case? As a neutral I really dislike arsenal. Not only the fans and managers insistence that the world is always against them but the fact that they show they can play good football but just choose to suffer. Against Liverpool at 1-1 arsenal had the ball and were the better team until half time. Second half they just dropped back let Liverpool have the ball and eventually conceded.
