You are beyond beautiful, smart & I want to be like you when I grow up! I'm 44 so I still have time 😂🤣! Your skin looks like a porcelain doll & the way you explain things=PERFECTION (& I've taught middle school for 19 years) My students always comment on my eyes and how beautiful they look (I don't know if they are "beautiful" worthy) but I find myself pulling out my phone, showing them my look is from your inspiration. You're extremely informative, have the gift of teaching your ideas to others, & are teaching others how to wear makeup in middle school & not look like they are part of the 'HOT MESS EXPRESS'! They need to learn putting on makeup is an art, you are always fine tuning their craft and to love themselves just the way they are. So, because it's a low income school, parents aren't around much, I really reinforce to the students -- find what makes you feel beautiful & let your beauty shine. Personally, my favorite part is when my students have tried one of your looks you posted on KZbin & they are excited to show me they tried "this look Ms. Mel posted" --- they explain the colors they used were similar to yours & you can feel the radiance of love & pride (they have no one to buy them makeup or teach them HOW to use it...so I spend many lunches helping them pick out things from the drug store & using my money & treat them to a suitable look for a middle school student & even show them how to use the items they purchase. It empowers them so much! You are making such a difference to so many of my students -- you actually have a middle school following & you are mentoring & touching the lives of people you don't even know. Thanks, Mel! I love how they look up to you as a role model❤ & feel great about the self concept ❤! If you ever receive makeup that you are willing to part with -- yes, you have quite the following & are mentoring & empowering so many "young beauties" please let me know, as I actually purchase makeup for them & use it as an incentive for meeting their personal goals, whatever they have set for themselves & have the tenacity to dig down deep & do what they need to do to achieve it! In our classroom, E is for EXCELLENCE, & NOT FOR EXCUSES! if you lived in San Diego, I would be asking you to come into class & share your story and empower young girls that they are perfect just the way they are...if you can ever help with samples, etc -- PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE let me know! Mel can you do a brush tutorial...like which type of hair, size, shape works best for what application. I seem to have a problem with dark shades on outer v, I get them on there but when I go to blend it gets patchy or just disappears, it's frustrating. I've bought all kinds of brushes but not sure what I'm doing wrong. I was using viseart liaison palette too so it shouldn't be shadows....thank you!

I ordered this the second it released and I haven't put it down. I agree about the pigmentation but I feel like it somehow works with these colors. Every look I do comes out kinda grungy and sexy. So gorgeous and so perfect for fall🍂

I was pleasantly surprised to see a yellow apply as a yellow. Whenever there’s a yellow in a palette, it always seems to apply as a brown. Thanks for the video!

That is a really beautiful autumnal look. I have found it really difficult to get palettes with khaki, olive and moss green eyeshadows in them. Now it seems the world and his wife are releasing one. I love the JP and the ND mini gold palettes. The UD I'm not so keen on and Metropolis will be far too expensive. But I'm happy ☺ with that 💖.

Beautiful, as usual! If you had to choose a single palette for a long lasting green look, which one would you pick? I have green hazel eyes, and green is the best colour for me (purples bring out my rosacea), so I am looking for green shades that don't oxidize to a browny-grey tone within a few hours. This is the second palette from Julia’s with the most beautiful 🤮 🤮🤮 shade at the bottom! I really love those warm greenish tones. Perfect grungy look all over the lid when you have blue eyes like me!

This looks lovely, but is there enough difference between this and the Melt Gemini palette to justify the spend... I suspect not given the number of palettes I already have.
