Tarte, Makeup by Mario, Tarte, Juvia’s Place…these formulas are all based on (and manufactured in) the Korea loved “Glasting Balms”. Non of them are meant to be wiped on like a lipstick. They are meant to be tapped/pressed onto the lips. The shine is evident with even minimal taps. If you over apply any of the afore mentioned brands, you will get “cobwebbing”. They all have a slight menthol/mint ingredient aka weird taste…Not meant for coverage. They are pigmented, only because they are a gellified gloss

I hated the Colourpop Glowing Lip because of the taste of it. It tasted like crayons to me. Same with the Coloured Raine Lip Lacquers

Ohhh I’ve never noticed the taste of those! I love that formula actually. I haven’t used the Coloured raine lip laquers in ages but was ALL about them back in 2015 haha
