I have a blush from Etude House (Korean) from their Cookie Blushers line, and it is a darker lavender purple (they have the Lighter one called Lavender Macaron, and mine called Lavender Chiffon Cake). I'm quite pale and cool toned, and purple usually becomes straight up pink, but this one keeps a bit of its purple. If you apply it very lightly when using the cute fluffy applicator then it'll be mostly pink from afar, but if you use a brush or dip in 2 or three times (it is pigmented, but the fluffy thing doesn't pick up much - though it does give a nice result - and is clearly geared towards the Korean and Japanese market) it'll become quite clear and you'll get a purplish pink. Like a darker pink undertone with a purple on top - if that makes sense? It is the reason I only use it in summer; the whiter I am, the more purple it looks. Keep this in mind, in case you have a deeper skintone, or can become quite tanned. In my experience it looks better - more natural - on darker skin, but also less purple. The paler, the purpler (which is why I do not use it that often as that doesn't fit in my style. I prefer a more natural look in my 'old age' 😅. Though with some looks, especially when wearing purple clothing, but also with burgundy f.e., it looks really pretty. If this is what you're looking for @TracyD2, then search for Etude House - Cookie Blusher PP501 Lavender Chiffon Cake. Despite my very dry, mature skin and this being powder, the Cookie Blusher doesn't emphasize or exacerbate texture/ fine lines. It looks really nice on skin. Stylevana and Yesstyle often sell Etude House. NB. A'PIEU, another Korean brand, used to have a purple shade in their Juicy.Pang Water Blushes (these look like a nail polish. Really fun packaging. Can definitely recommend any of the other colours). I have a very light peach in these blushes, and it's quite pigmented with a beautiful result. Maybe you can check online to see if they still sell such a shade. I wrote "used to have" above, because I've had my Water blush for a while now, so I'm not sure. But thought it was a good tip, regardless. Purple is a more common shade in K-beauty and J-beauty (see, for example, CanMake Cream Cheek Pearl in P05 Pale Lilac. I own the Cream Cheek Clear in Red Heart and Cream Cheek Matte in Terracotta Almond from this brand, and they're gorgeous and so easy to apply with a finger!), so it's always smart to check those brands. Especially because they give high-end quality for drugstore prices in the majority of their products. Good luck & have fun!

"Waste of butter" took me OUT. These look beautiful! If I didn't have all these shades covered from the blush craze of 2023, I'd be all over these. They are filling a gap in the drugstore market though.

I bought the shade For the Butta which has the word "mauve" on it but isnt mauve. Mine has no smell whatsoever. I like the packaging and the texture of the product. I wanted a cooler shade as this is too red on me. I also bought Cool Berry from Fenty in the creme blush and thats a great cool color. I might grab the fuschia in NYX. love that color.

I kept switching videos until i found yours and it was so helpful to see everything without filter and close up with a similar skintone to mine. I personally didnt mind the talking as I like as many details as possible.😂 I'm still sooo torn, theres many nice shades. I love luminous baked blushes like Milani and not matte. Stuck between 02(but I have many in that style), 04, 06 or 07/011 for fall, those seem like a perfect grape, autumn type of color. I never had that shade so I'm kind of scared od it tho. So hard to pick one 😭

So I have Back and Butta, and on me, it comes across as a reddish berry tone, sort of like what Natasha Denona came out with. Um, I think it could be like a rosewood on deeper skin tones. Also with how deep it is, I definitely only need one tap for each cheek lol

Hi Eva, this was extremely helpful. Nyx can't be bought in stores here, only online (and even if they were, I'm in a wheelchair and public transport sucks, many busstops and train stations aren't available to us), so I really need this. I was able to buy the correct bronzer through videos. The marketing pictures s**k! So I needed other super pale KZbinrs show me the way to the lightest, because I thought I needed the 3rd or 4th. Hopefully, I'll get the best blush through yours - though I'm much paler and cooler toned. If you don't mind, though, I would advise you to have less chatting in between. The majority isn't really necessary or helpful - it's filler. You don't need to show us you cleaning your brush either. Just tell us in the beginning that you'll reapply your foundation between each application as well as clean brushes so every 'face swatch' is clean. Then you won't have to say or show any of that in the video. And then go from blush to blush, just telling us shade name and colour. Of course you can say if it's very pigmented and if you love it. It's just the stuff between each new product that tried my patience. With so many products, it's "the shorter, the better" in between items. When it comes to your experience with the blush: I prefer a full conclusion at the end. You've repeated yourself a few times now with certain blushes, but those that are especially impatient might quit the video. The shimmer shade stuff: I love doing research, so this isn't strange coming from me😅... but, a tip for future videos >> read about the blushes (or other products) before doing the video. What does the brand say? Is their new formula special, and in what way? Had you done so, you still had the 1st impressions authenticity, but you wouldn't have been confused or confused us about those shimmery ones. I don't know if you know Nikki La Rose, but she's an MUA on KZbin and often does long videos where she's showing blushes or highlighters - many new to her. While she talks in between, all the info she gives is fully geared toward the product and how to use it. Jen Phelps is also someone who often shows swatches and facial applications, whether it's PR of showing off new items she bought herself (like these blushes). She's not a makeup artist, so perhaps you'll feel more comfortable looking at her. But you can see she goes much faster. I'm not saying that you should copy them. Give it your own sauce, so to speak, but I've given these 2 names to show you how to speed things up while staying authentic and informative. Good ol' chatting is really more of a Get Ready With Me- thing, where you can help yourself by answering questions subscribers have asked upfront or by talking about a specific topic. Having some sort of script, even with just a few words on it, will help you stay the course and not ramble. I hope this has helped! I didn't mean any disrespect. Thanks again! I think I'll get 04 and 07, maybe 12 (the purple fuchsia)😉. 08 is a nice shade, but I fear the shimmer might possibly exacerbate my texture and fine lines, as I'm at least 10 years (I suspect 15) older than you.
