I am amazed you actually have customers enough to keep you busy. Here if a repair costs over $50.00 they go & buy a new TV. So glad I retired from the repair biz. I got so tired of customers being irritated that it would take 2-3 days to get parts. After a long reaming by an old bat, that was mad because the shop didn't have a part in stock for her 15 year old set, and it would take 3 days to get it from California, I asked her if she thought we should stock every part for every set made. She said we should. Sigh.... I really wanted to tell her to go ......... but I managed to refrain from that.

In my town it has gone from 8 TV repair shops in the 1970's to zero today. Most people seem to just buy a new one and I try to save the rejects rather than seeing them go to the landfill.

YT does funny things. I make comments [complimentary ones] on a variety of channels and they appear to register, but don't...either the channel owners don't like me, or there are glitches.

I had similar problem from them, when they finally delivered they left it at the back of the rubbish bins. Never even came to the door.

Royal Mail are the absolute worst here in Reading. My last Ali Express order sat in Swindon for 5 days, follwed with false "delivery attempted" entries (when the tracking site works) which were presumably to tick some target. Best (worst) recently with RM was a front cover for my shower. Only needed the swtich, but it only comes with the assembly. Grrr in itself. Gloucester to Bristol. Should have then been Swindon then Reading delivery office. Nope, 5 days in Belfast of all places. Then back to Bristol. Meanwhile I hadn't put the Cover back on, because I paid extra for 24™ delivey. Note the absence of "hours". Evri/yodel just deliver. It really depends where you live I guess.

we have one of the worse mail deleivery systems in the world now thanks to Royal Mail, they should have the Royal word removed. Mind you Yodel is no better....

I always tell my customers minimum 10 working days,even if i manage to have something ready the same day.Betterbto underpromise and over deliver than vice versa.However many keep calling me every day just to check.I once told a customer that if he calls me agai,it means we are in a relationship and he should buy me dinner at an expensive restaurant.He never bothered me again...

so the customer pestered and pestered you to get the tv fixed and when it was they suddenly couldn't afford it? hmm i would add on a few time wasting charges to the bill as it sounds like they were always not gonna be able to afford it. you should add a tv bnb fee to ur tvs that customers make you keep longer than say a week once fixed.
