JVC are the best for movie lovers. Had the 350 then got from Dreamedia, Zach , a deal on 2000. Love the frame adapt mode. Got a replacement bulb from Dreamedia , so back to my bat cave.

The NZ700 seems like a sweet spot for price with performance. Love the redesigned chassis. Increased lumens. Same contrast as the lamp based NX7 . Should be a ton of lamp based projector owners looking to upgrade to this particular model.

Thanks for the awesome review! Totally agree, the NZ700 really hits that sweet spot between price and performance. The new design and those extra lumens are a great touch. It’s definitely shaping up to be a solid upgrade for lamp-based projector owners. Appreciate you sharing your thoughts!

What about compared to an NX-9?

@@muddasirsultan6256 NX9 had native contrast of 100,000 to 1 and 2200 lumens. Although the black levels on the laser projectors is better than the lamp based. The NX9 has all glass lens where NZ700 is not a glass lens but plastic. I would probably still take an NZ700 at this point over NX9 unless you can find an NX9 for $5K. The NX9 also had the larger 100mm lens where the NZ700 is 80mm lens. NX7 was a 65mm lens. The fan noise on the NZ700 is considerably lower than on the lamp based projectors.
