Cool! I have a broken JVC Super VHS VHS-C Camcorder from 2000 that I used for a while. I wish it still worked but it was built in Malaysia so I guess I shouldn't have expected it was going to last very long.

Either the camera is broken or you have no idea how to use it. It’s not white balanced and completely blown out. :(

It works fine. This was a test video where I was adjusting settings as I was using it.

Is it possible to replace the lens with a fisheye/wideangle lens?
@AlphaControlBroadcasting7 жыл бұрын
It seems like it would be possible. I know the lens can be removed and replaced but I am not sure if other types of lenses were made for this model.

I have a question. How much quality does the camera lose when using VHS tapes instead of SVHS? I purchased this camera and it is in great condition but Im seeing like snowy frizz around the things in the video including the person. So do you know what this could be? Thank you

@@johnathanhillministriesint6026 You lose signal-to-noise ratio (measured in decibels, or db) and dynamic range, resolution, amongst other things. The best VHS tapes to use would be, specifically, the TDK XP Super Pro ST-120 or Fujifilm H471S ("Double Coating) ST-120 tape stocks as they are the best for S-VHS, hands down. They will also work in regular VHS machines as well.

You can use any 1/2" lens from Fujinon or Canon, there are (as far as I know no fisheye), various zooms from relative wide to extreme telephoto.
