Just installed a JVC KD-X480BHS that looks similar to that one. The sound is amazingly rich and full again as my 20 year old Sony unit amps were giving out. The only complaint is the menu system is very convoluted and not simple to navigate. I am still trying to figure out how to save preset memory for all 18 FM stations with just 6 buttons. The Sony had simple FM1(6) FM 2 (6), and FM 3 (6). Them JVC has not such organization. On a side note for info, you car has a DIM and a half, not a double DIN. A standard double DIN would be too big. Nice video.

Just ordered this for an older truck I acquired. Glad to hear good things about the Bluetooth. I was looking for something with Bluetooth Android auto and wanted to stay under $100 since this is a hand me down vehicle. Sounds like it'll be perfect.

I appreciate that you showed us the stereo and I did learn from you that it comes with the microphone. It would have been a much better review if you had gone in to the settings to give an example of what stuff can be adjusted like the back light and EQ as well as how to sync Bluetooth etc.

Can you set the radio to constantly change colors? If so can you make a tutorial on how to activate this.

You can. 1. Press menu button 2. Turn knob to "COLOR". If "PRESET" shows, push button. 3. Turn knob to choose a zone. 4. Turn knob to choose a color, or "COLOR FLOW" to change colors. 5. Repeat for other zones. Here's a link to the manual: www33.jvckenwood.com/pdfs/B5K-0663-10.pdf

Is it XM Radio ready or do you need to buy anything else?

It is XM compatible, meaning you have to buy the reciever/antenna/adapter. It does not have an XM receiver on board.

Well, it was a Metra install kit, Toyota specific with the little compartment underneath it. Not sure of the exact dimensions.
