The GT90 system is IMO the best shelf system ever released. I had one when I was a teenager and that thing was on another level.

Nice video! Recently learned the years of release for all these systems and impressed on the order! For example the gt90 was released in 01 and the z30 was in 03 etc. Also did SPL calculations for all systems and that also is very surprising info! Especially when ranking them all haha.

These two systems together, how does it compare to something like the zux99 or zx9? On mids highs treble and especially upper bass (50-60hz) and lower bass (25hz-35hz). Along with that question, I have a couple of video ideas for you since you have the systems available (if you have the time). Have you ever thought of SPL testing each system separately with a cheap SPL meter and ranking the results? It would be like doing a big test comparison akin to a mrwhosetheboss "best smartphones of 2023" type one where he ranks multiple aspects of smartphones? Except this one would be for 2000-2010 or so JVC stereo systems (the ones you have anyway). For example test multiple aspects of your systems for things like frequency response, SPL, speaker sizes in each cabinet, efficiency, RMS power, and then some audiophile type, personal taste sound tests and also seeing what the lowest audible subwoofer frequency from each system you can hear? If you needed extra info like specifications on any/all systems and ideas on what to test I could definitely help! I have SO much raw info on all the JVC MX and HX systems + more I could share with you. I love these systems just as much as you do and think a lot of people would enjoy and appreciate seeing that type of content and learning that much about these systems, especially the old 2000-2010ish JVC's AIWA's and Sony's!

@@chiefjuice1 Yep and I like how they separated out the models with different names, for example the MX at the front means its a gigatube model or similar, and HX is typically the tower models like z30 or z3. Also Yes I have thought about doing more in depth reviews of these systems, I have done a few, like the gigatube series video I made a while back, but damn it takes alot of time to edit those haha. But its definitely a possibility
