Great video. I myself would be mad if they took away 3D. Movies are still being made in 3D and I’m sure there are others like myself that have a healthy 3D collection and would rather it not being turned obsolete. Keep up the great work!

Thanks for the video. I just took delivery of my brand new NZ8 and it is straight up awesome! I'm one of those guys who still loves 3D, which is a large part of why I went with JVC over the Epson LS12000.

Thanks for this video :-) I have a question, if that’s ok. I’m a noob at this, but I was just wondering: Say you have a PS5 and an Apple-Tv, that you wanna hook up to this projector, well, then both HDMI-ports have now been used up. So, how do you then draw out the sound to your separate surround-sound system??? If you’re meant to connect all HDMI-sources into your surround-receiver, and then have a single HDMI-cable between receiver and projector, where all of the imaging is transferred through, won’t that diminish the picture quality a bit then? Not to mention even more response-delay, when playing on a PS5?

yeap! the remotes are the same as the previous model ! the LAN port is for JVC autocal which works great and other stuff..

I have a question that nobody want to swing at... maybe you will... When my center channel speaker is below the screen, it completely misses the mark! Why don't we use two speakers, one on each side, to nail it to the screen? I can't be the first guy to think of that... Got an opinion?

There’s some complaints about the cost of this projector, and how few can actually afford it, but it’s still educational. One of the striking things people that have seen and heard megabuck systems say is how close their own modest system is to the performance of many high dollar systems. I believe it’s the law of diminishing returns: you have to pay frightening amounts of money to get the last 10-15% of performance.

The projector is not 8k and it would not be that difficult to make 8k content as 35mm film is roughly about 8k and there are also 8k digital cameras that movies are shot on.

It's nice to have some headroom from scaling and panel alignment. It will also upscale 4k to 8k. 8k is getting so high that these effects are fairly subtle, but combined with a nicer lens, small gains add up.

I dont want to sound like a jerk but who is buying 25 thousand dollar projectors?? I mean granted some people are but, are there really enough being sold to support a youbtube video? This channel has 74 thousand subscribers and this video only has 337 views. I'm going to go out on a limb and say the percentage of your subscribers that can afford a 25 thousand dollar projector is extremely low!

I don’t think that’s really the point. Many people watch car videos on cars they will never afford but the enjoyment is seeing what is considered among the best of the best. Just because someone can’t afford something now doesn’t mean they can’t in the future nor does it mean they don’t want to see what is considered Flagship and there are projectors that cost more than that. He literally just put the video out so of course the view count is low. I’m not sure why you got on KZbin to complain about free content. You could have easily not clicked on the video and went to another video for a 200 dollar projector.

I see your point, and your not a jerk. The views count is only due to THTD taking a break between releasing regular videos recently and his content isn't recommended in algorithm as much at present. His views will be back to normal when his posting schedule hits prior release timeframes. He is on track to doing this soon. The content is still GREAT, and he has always done this kind of review in the past, and with success. My POV: You can't shoot for the goal if you never define it. The reason the Corvette is so good. When you look at super car videos, and how the Corvette can compare for a cheaper price point, you can see how far off you are from the ultimate goal. The appreciation can then be had for the cheaper models. You need to know what your giving up for not spending the bigger cash. I have an Epson. What did I give up by buying one, what can I achieve as later models are released. Why did I follow graphics card releases of the 3090TI, when my budget is 3070? Same reason.

I’m not sure if you noticed, but I took the majority of the last year off of filming. I spent more time filming for another company. That’s over now so it’s back to focusing on my brand and my videos. Also, I understand what you’re saying but I don’t agree. My most viewed video is close to 2million views. It’s about an ultra expensive high fi speaker line up. Even the people who attend are not with excessive means and may probably never own any of the sets they see. It’s nice to appreciate the finer things even if you don’t want or need them.
