The game doesn't officially acknowledge you actually participating in any of the games (besides aerobics), but you can pretend to be in the games (like the foot race). Although they should've made it so you could actually participate in the games instead of just standing around talking to people.

You can pretend to participate in the foot race but yeah I’d love if this event to return in animal crossing switch and they make it more interactive I’d love to do tug of war and the ball toss aswell

njac96: Yes, it still exists but it may be harder to find since a lot of stores don't carry GameCube stuff anymore. The game can also be played on a Wii system, though you'd still need a GameCube controller.

@superluigibros21: My older videos weren't recorded in stereo sound, so sound only comes out of the right speaker. You must be listening to only the left side...try hooking up your right speaker (or adjust your speaker balance) and you should hear the sound.

Pretty neat to see the town villagers participate in aerobics, foot-racing, ball tossing & tug-o-war during the Sports Fair. Makes them feel more alive & active. If only you can participate. Guess the only things to return from the Sports Fair is the ball toss music which is uses in the crane machine furniture in New Leaf, as far as im aware, & villagers stretching at resident service in New Horizons.

Tailsfan803: It's playing that song because I made that my town tune. You can enter the notes for a short jingle as your town tune, which will play whenever you talk to a character.

Zario01: I have a TV tuner for my PC that lets me connect the video cable from the GameCube (or Wii) directly into my computer. I bought it a few years back so that I could use my monitor as an extra TV, but thanks to KZbin, I've found a new use for it. :)

@KittyPieProductions: There are morning aerobics at the wishing well, but it's only in summer (from July 25 to August 31). It's not just on Sundays, it's every day during that span. If you do it 14 days (and have Tortimer check off your exercise card), you will get an aerobics radio that you can use to do the aerobics in your house.
