We differentiate between "flexion" (grabbing and squeezing motion) and "arm rotation" which is like turning a metal key clockwise or counter-clockwise. "Arm rotation" is the correct way to play.

Every single change of note in the same hand should involve a forearm rotation like you're turning a metal key. Fix that slowly and meticulously (practicing hands-separate first).

The left hand technique is all correct because the left arm rotates like you are turning a key. But, there is too much individual finger motion (flexion) by the right hand.

In any case, it's so refreshing to see someone play piano considerably well who doesn't happen to be East European or Asian! :)

Interesting musical piece! By the way, at 1:17 it may be more ergonomic to rotate the right arm when doing melodic motions. I notice that at 2:17 too.

Thanks for your feedback! Could you possibly explain what you mean by rotating the right arm?
@Bastard-of-Ming6 ай бұрын
@@everythingmusic3805 "Rotating the arm" means to move like you're turning a metal key in a door lock repeatedly every single note change (no flexion).

Overall, though, your technique seems all right because your wrists are high. And, the left hand doesn't have any issues like the right hand at, say, 1:17 and 2:17.
