I love how genuine and open Jake is with his life and his feelings. He is truly a gifted artist, and very engaging. I think Jake is doing well on his own with some help from his brother and his Mom. However, Jake would be great as part of a group as well (a brotherly type of group). I remember a group of boys that were very talented, fun, open with their feelings, and very brotherly. That group was One Direction. I think it's good that One Direction makes their own individual music now, however it would be nice to see them reunite. If One Direction decides to reunite and start over, Jake would be a nice addition to One Direction (just my opinion). That doesn't mean that they can no longer be individualistic as well. It just seems that Jake's personality, talent and style of music would mesh well with the One Direction boys, who are all young men now!

Jvke you have the most wonderful songs in both lyrics and music. Probably sounds silly, but during this interview I certainly listened but thought what a great shirt you had on!

I first listened to Jvke because it’s my granddaughters first expression of finding music SHE LOVES. We pulled it up on you tube and while I’m driving down the road she sings the songs (esp the hook at the top of her lungs) I loved it. She is just looking at the video and out the window and is suddenly in her own little world. As a music lover, I just LOVED it.

He is a great artist and all But he shouldn't chase after the hype of TikTok because "trends" and "viral moments" are short-lived and *a lot* of artists have burned out very easily in the past because of them chasing after those cheap thrills. He is still a fairly new artist so i guess this is why he is this way but after a while he'll definitely start to realize that music isn't just a numbers game. Music is about quality. You *need* to take extra time to develop a masterpiece and not just distribute music like it was a McDonald's menu. I'm saying this out of love because I've seen it happen plenty of times. He is a great artist and i only want *the best* for him!

Yeah I felt the same when he was talking about his own songs as products with a “lifespan”.
@supranova1382 жыл бұрын
Did either of you even hear him? Music is his passion and he takes it very seriously & he even mentions that he hopes to show people (like you apparently) that there's a lot more to him & his game. This gimmicky thing is what gained him his initial fame so he's making sure to play it right and its his current environment so that's where he's coming at us from...for now.

I completely agree with this. Honestly this is the exact mindset that the newer generations have been bred into. With social media skyrocketing and this hyperfixiation on instant gratification, people are starting to care less about quality and more about quantity. People want any results the fastest, instead of the best results at a fairly slower pace. That being said, he's an incredibly hard-working and talented artist and I wish him lots of success in all of his future endeavors! Big fan :)

viral moments are a tool to have people add a song to their personal playlist, of course the trend will burn out, doesn’t matter though.
@lisahampton4115 Жыл бұрын
I heard him say exactly what you did…TikTok is great but he was seriously about his music, it isn’t just a TikTok thing. I definitely give him more credit than thinking “oh yay, I’m a TikTok star” when he literally talks about his love for music and his songs …..he didn’t even want to write songs for himself, just wanted to write and TikTok happened …. He took advantage to get his name out there like any smart artist would. If “our” generation had this tool, we would have used it too.
